flb bar
 i've never been to pattaya before but for fulltime party it has to be heaven as what i've seen on the websites .question: how is flb bar,has it realy great parties or can't they handle a big handsome man  (that's what the girls in patong call me handsome man  with good heart )

If you are looking for hostess bar like that of FLB, go to Secrets Bar at Soi 14 at Walking Street..it's by far the best hostess bar...morever there are also coyotee dancers for your eyes to feast upon. I will always try to be there when i go to Pattaya. Go and look for Ben or Steve..great guys..managers/partners.

Gez is right, the managers left and opened Secrets Hotel and Bar. I think a lot of the best girls left too, and so did the atmosphere, it seems. I looked in one night in August for old times sake (had some good nights there in the past) and it was the deadest place I've seen in Pattaya. Bought one drink, drank it in a minute and legged it.
Pattaya's very competitive, with literally thousands of places vying for your holiday bahts - and there are literally thousands of places more fun this one just now. They're really going to have to pull their fingers out if they want to get back on the list of people's possibles.

we did look at the rooms to stay but decided on the stereo bar on soi LK and baukow corner as they were 300 cheaper and better rooms.its has new rooms at secrets but they wanted 950 per night which is a absolute joke when you compare them to other places in town.they even wanted 450 baht for a room 2 hours short time.i dont mind paying a little extra but this place just rips people off bigtime. we were forever hounded by the girls for ladies drinks and when we did get 4 girls a drink they run off to dance after gulping them down.i dont mind buying ladies drinks if the girl sits and talks with you but these just took off in 2 minutes.all the seating is set out so the bar is featured and not the dancers who in some places you have to turn 180 degrees to see. 4 of us went there for breakfast the next day and nearly fell over when we got the bill for over 1300 baht  seeing we had extra coffees it was more expensive than the huge price they are asking which is 290 baht for the big(not so big)breakfast.smallest coffee cup i have ever seen in any restaurant.but it gets better as when we were going to have a drink before we started to eat WATER was 60 baht as one of my friends found out.They have a automated billing system but it didnt stop them putting 2 drinks on we never had.some fat manager(ben EX FLB) came over when we complained he tried to cover it up  but we stood our ground and asked for the police to be called if they were not prepared to take the 2 drinks off we never had.funny how all of a sudden he said sorry my staff have confirmed they made a error.Saw jem(sp) ex mamasan at FLB in club bouche she said that secrets is not much good as she worked there for a little while before moving to CB because they under paid her 1st salary. i must say i had a better time in the FLB bar than secrets bar.they now have a new manager ricky who was managing anglewitch in bangers before so he will get the place humming soon.

i was continually asked to by ladydrinks whilst in secrets , i'm no cheap charlie but getting asked every 2 minutes is a real pain..! crossed off my list

MOST OF the guys who used to drink at the flb have moved to cherry bar in soi 7
the flb location is a downer its right at the end of walking street so you have too many bars to bypass to reach it !

Just got back from another 10 days in LOS and thought i would check out secrets again with a few pals who were on their 1st trip.certainly was much quieter than my oct/nov trip and the staff hussle heavy for drinks,one girl i noticed my pal buy a shot for @100 baht and it didnt look like alcohol so i lent over and took a smell to discover it was only some form of lolly water and not the real thing.one pal liked a girl and asked to barfine her but wow 1200 baht is just plain robbery.
some fat guy introduced himself as the manager who was different from the last manager that was there.i aksed about the price of the barfine and was just shrugged off so i mentioned the shot was only lolly water and the madman got aggresive so i had a heated argument with the madman manager and paid our bin never to return.i dont take too kindly to threats(grrr) but i am smart enough to know if i flawed the prick then the Thais would jump me, so i have put it in the back of my mind for a later date. found out later after i visited freelancer bar that secrets management are not welcome in too many bars around town after they attempted to discredit other bars around town like flb,cherry bar soi 8,mistys and living dolls 1. anybody know who is the lad about 55 that was a regular at the flb years ago with his blonde UK girl.he walks around the bar like he owns pattaya but something happend and he hid in the kitchen when some guy walked into the bar so must be a bad egg i think.

I had some great nights in the FLB in September, despite the negative comments in this thread I would encourage any new guys to this board to give it a try and make your own mind up, there are some nice girls there, and the two parties I was at were great fun. Some of the politicing from the other boards appears to be creeping in here, I am not critical of Secrets, I thought it was alright the one night I went, but I was also suprised at the price of the bar fine.

secrets is ok but very dark and dingy......tried FLB again last week with Pentire to see if it had changed at all......was without a doubt the worst bar we went into the whole week I was there.....it is complete shite.....bad band bad booze and you couldn't find uglier women if you crawled soi 6 and dragged out the worst bakers dozen of desperados....
uptou.......but don't say you weren't warned....BTW I have no reason to play favourites or otherwise about patts pubs......am meber here, in patts talk + patts secrets....enjoy them all

Agree. Visited FLB 4-5 times in the last 2 years. It was and still is the worst bar in Patts for me. Never been there when there was a party. The girls are ugly, so I suppose they are still ugly when there is a party.
N1, seen some beauties in Soi 6, but you have to go there frequently. Saw some top girls in TJ and Route 69, also in some others. But as there are a lot of ST's, it can happen that the goodies are not there when you stay only for one drink in the bar.
