Just got back from LOS. I spent 3 nights at the beginning of my trip in Pattaya and then 4 more at the end. Some general thoughts....

Hotel--I stayed at the Flipper House on Soi 7 for the second time now. I love the place. 1000 baht a night for a decent room and everybody from the security guard to the porters to the front desk is very friendly.

First night--paid 1200 baht for cab from hotel in Bangkok to Flipper House and then took 10 baht bus for short ride to Walking street.

Polo--last year as a first timer to Pattaya I thought this place was awesome. As a "veteran" now I realize this place is lame. Last year the dancers were model quality but this year very very average including a few buffalo. Two hello girls came to sit with me with one giving me a massage. I bought both a drink and sat in the front row for the show. They said they charge 1500 ST. Left after one drink.

Angelwitch--well done shows with good looking dancers. Seeing the girls come sliding down the poles like fireman was nice. I never made it back here but now wish I would have because it was good. Just too many other places to see.

Silver Star soi 8--this place became my hangout. Just has a fun vibe to it with about 40 dancers a night who like to party and stumbling distance to my hotel. I ended up with a regular here who I think I inadvertently turned into a lesbian but that's a long story. pic from entrance to Polo

By all accounts, Coyotees is the place to go. Up there with the best of the gogos

It's interesting to note how quickly gogos and bars can go from good to bad.

second day...paid 350 baht for haircut/pedicure/manicure and then went down early to Walking street....

I think the place was called Nui. Small little gogo where I was the only guy in there so ended up with 3 ladys around me wanting drinks. Left after one.

Club Boeshe--nice place with jacuzzi and a cool setup with friendly waitresses. I wasn't feeling too hot so didn't stay long. Went to a beer bar near my hotel where I had a few drinks to start the night and the only person left there was the bartender. All the girls--maybe 7 of them, had been barfined. The lesson is if you see one you like grab her because she will be gone. Ended up at Silver Star with my regular. pics from beer bar on Walking St.

3rd day...
350 baht oil massage and then a nap.

Went down to Walking St early again. Living Dolls--I went in there at 8 and again was the only customer in the place. Got a girl off the stage by buying her a drink. Nice looking ladies but not a lot of fun since I was the only one in there just didn't feel right.

Catz--probably the lamest gogo I went into the whole time. I had heard good things about it but I found it too small and not nearly as many dancers as many of the other gogos. If you are into light skinned Japanese looking ladies they do have that going for them.

Peppermint--I ended going back to this place about 3 different times. Great place. Tons of hotties, 2 stages, 1 cage, table dancers, topless bartenders. This place pretty much had it all. Raunchy and sexy at the same time.

Happy A gogo--tons of hotties here too. I ended talking with one young girl about how much she makes. She said on a good month about 30,000 - 40,000 baht and she also has a sponsor who is in the oil business. She said she pays 1500 baht a month in rent. I then realized this girl is richer than I am. pic from beer bar near hotel.

I sat at her bar one night and drank with her for about 2 hours and even bought her a 600 baht watch. Then I said I was leaving for walking street and she kind of freaked out on me. I told her I was sorry but I bought her 4 drinks and a watch and thought that was worth her time. Guess not. Oh well. I think she was drunk from the 4 heinakins she drank.

day 4---I couldn't believe how much cash I was going through on this trip so this day I decided to keep track:
1400 baht taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya (could have taken cheaper taxi I know)
1200 baht bar tab at beer bar near my hotel (I bought 4 drinks for a lady I was drinking with and one for the bartender, and one for the guy I bought some watches from.
2000 baht for 3 watches I bought while sitting at the bar
100 baht for two chicken kabobs at food stand
1300 baht bar tab at Silver Star gogo (includes 500 baht bar fine)
200 baht in bacardi drinks at market for lady
400 baht for dinner ( I wrote this down but have no reccolection of it, whether or not it was early in the evening or after bar and if it was just me or me and a lady
1000 lady
Expensive day but a good one so it was worth it to me.

Day 5--took a stroll down Soi 6 late afternoon. wow. This Soi isn't really my cup of tea but it was great for a change of pace and actually afterward made some of the other gogos seem boring by comparison. If you're not into foreplay then this is the place for you. I walked by Kiss Kool, saw a hotty who was looking at me and walked up to her and said I would have one drink. Literally within 5 seconds of being in the place she was straddling me. Within a minute she was doing a lot more than that. I went into a another bar on the soi and the exact same thing. You walk in and the girl doesn't sit next to you, she sits on top of you.

I hit Walking St and again went to Peppermint. Also hit Living Dolls Showcase which seemed tame after Soi 6. Also hit a place called Tramps that does all the shows. I've never been to one of those and won't be going back. Lots of couples in the place, 300 baht cover charge, 200 baht lady drink to see ugly women do disgusting acts. You can see much better shows with much better women at just about any other gogo than one of these types.
Then I hit Windmill gogo right underneath Tramps. This place was great. I basically had my own two private dancers at my table who would take turns dancing on the table. There is also a bunch of girls on the main stage that I occasionly wandered up to.
Ended up at Silver Star soi 8.

Day 6--Went way down Walking St near Club Boeshe and drank at a beer bar near the water. I think the place was actually called "drinking street".
I went to Windmill at 7pm but it was dead with one or two girls dancing so I left. I went back at 8 and it was filled but not the same vibe as the night before. First place I sat down at the dancer ordered a tequila and then 5 minutes later another one. i didn't like how that was going so I left. Back to Silver Star for the night. I had 4 ladies around me for a few hours which cost me a bar tab of 2400 baht but again, it was worth it.

Day 7--Got a foot massage and then watched ManU vs Man city football match at bar right next to hotel with big screen tvs. Went to World Wide Agogo on Beach road near Soi 8. This place was dead and I don't know why. It's close to Silver Star which is always packed and has alsmost the same exact setup on the inside. Plus, they have cheaper beer, only 60 baht a bottle unless that was just a special night that I went. The women just wern't as much fun. They were depressed, probably because there were no customers and rarely are any.
Went down to Walking St for the last time and hit Peppermint again and What's Up Agogo. The place was okay but I was in there so late it was hard to tell. It has a Jacuzzi but the place seemed a little sterile.

In general, Pattaya kicks butt on Phuket in terms of nightlife. As great as it is though I can only take it in small doses of 3 or 4 days at a time before I feel the need to get out.

Nice update, 5-6k sounds about right, easy to loose track in LOS.
