Pattaya in comfort
I have seen many posts regarding cheap hotels and saving a few baht. That is great, I would rather have good AC, a clean safe place where I can f--k until my d--k is sore. I live in California and go to TJ. We have our $15 girls, I am interested in a new experience and it seems as Pattay is the place. The hotels I found are; Hard Rock, Marriot, Rabbit, Saim Bayview or Royal Orchid.
I can spend a few Baht, what are your recomendations?
Also C--lis, can I bring my own or should I buy it there?

Many good hotels in Patts but probably not all girl friendly. Areca lodge is recommended by many people

Your tone is a bit dodgy but I'm sure you'll find something fitting your profile.
Welcome to the board.

Not dodgy at all really, just stating facts. He's telling the truth. In TJ (Tijuana, Mexico) some of the street girls will accept $15, but this is for about 15 minutes! I once spent the night in a $10 hotel in TJ, actually I passed out there. TJ is a different world. There's something for everyone, even for super cheap charlie's. I think he was trying to say he doesn't want to go so cheap, he wants to enjoy a decent but economical hotel. Not too sleazy.

Clarification
I was trying to say in a way that will not be censored( I am new to this forum) that I have been around the block, just not the thai block. I want a high class hotel with down to earth people. Most entries are all about saving baht, I would rather pay a few baht more and go first class. But I still wanted to convey the reason for my trip is not sightseeing.

Well it's reasonable to say that you can stay first class in los for $100USD. My experience is that it can be a matter of overkill though. I've stayed at the Sofitel in BKK fir $136USD a night and while it is a top class hotel, the facilties were no more impressive that staying in a smaller boutique hotel for around $65USD a night.

This is beacuse the hotels is Thailand are unlike USA, OZ, Europe etc. 3 star hotels in LOS are often nicer than 4-star in many other countries. If you do your research you can find top-notch places right near the action, in as-new rooms, with everything you need. This is where the value of these forums are shown, you can get unbiased reviews and BM's experiences.
Personally, I would have a better holiday staying in a smaller, girl-friendly hotel, right near the action paying $65USD a night, than in a larger less girl-friendly hotel farther away from the action, that is indeed 5-star, but no more comfortable or convenient than a cheaper option.
Good luck with the search.

I stayed at the Sunshine Hotel on Soi 8 and for 1700baht I got a large room, kingsize bed 2 swimming pools, 2 mins from the beach and plenty of action all round, or try the Flipper Lodge or Hotel as they are also very good and slightly cheaper.
Most mid-range hotels in Patts are around 1000baht and are pretty much all o.k. - trouble is that most (if not all) of the expencive hotels are NOT girl friendly so why bother with them.

Very true, esp. the international chain hotels.

All the hotels you mentioned are expensive 4-5 star hotels, were you probably have to pay an extra 1000 baht or so to get a bedmate pass the reception, heard of stories of guys who managed to smuggle the girls through gardens and kitchen entrances!
No reason to stay there at all if you are going for mongering!
As mentioned loads of places around 1000 baht or less a night, with all the ammenities you'll need!
If you do feel you'd like to splash a bit try the LK Metropole or LK Royal Suite:
LK Metropole
Plahgat
ps you buy the vitamins in any local pharmacy in Pats!

Allways use the Marriott. Never had any problem with joiner fee. They just have to give ID card at the guard near the elevator. I booked again for next month.
Walking distance from Walking street, close to Soi Post Office...
Royal Orchid def. not GF. Check with hotel reviews in Pattaya Pages Thailand Hotel Reviews - Main Index - Powered by ReviewPost
As I fly Thai I allways book the Marriott through Their Royal Orchid Holidays program. Best price.

View Talay Villas Jomtien (find easy on Google)
It is about Bt 5280 per night. So not exactly cheap, but ...
About 3 min ride to the beach
You got your own private villa with its own pool.
Bedroom with big bed and en suite
Big Sitting Room
Big Kitchen with everything.
Very Private and secure
About 15 min down the road to the main strip in Patts.
Bring back as many girls as you like.
They also had 2 and 3 room villas as well

I am getting the picture. I just don't want to be sweating my nuts off while getting my nut off. I don't want the noise complaints that I read about. I don't want to walk up stairs. I don't want bugs crawling up the walls. I want clean sheets.
Basically I am one picky Dirty Old Man.
Thanks for the help.

I hear what you are saying..... You ask for a nice hotel with pool etc and some people tell you to get little guesthouses for 500 baht a night!
When I was in pattaya a hotel I liked the looks of was Sandy Springs. It was opposite my hotel which had a nice pool but the rooms were a bit basic in my hotel so I would not recommend that (Lek Hotel) You are walking distance to the action... with Walking Street about 10 minutes away.... Hell Club/Lolitas about 5 mins walk.
Sandy Springs is on Soi 13 near Dynasty Inn also.
I am returning to Pattaya in August and will be booking Sandy Springs. This is a Guest friendly hotel also. Here is link http://www.sandyspringhotel.com/index.htm
Good Luck

The "Whitehouse Condotel" check it out. Newly furnished rooms, an elevator. Girl friendly... I think they redid the pool by now. I usually stay in the one bedroom suite, and it's only 2500 bt in low season. The whitehouse has really nice large rooms, large walk in shower, the lobby is nice, but you don't get the snobby type people.
I've stayed at the 4 and 5 star hotels in Pattaya and Bangkok and yeah I don't want to see rich families staring at me. I don't like it when the wife is giving me a dirty look and the husband is about to get slapped for staring at my chics fake breast.
If you wanna be a real dirty old man check out the penthouse suites, they have cheap to expensive rooms, with an elevator. And an indoor pool/jacuzi. And definately no joiner fee. I think they are working on installing sex swings and stripper poles into every room.
Last I heard the Royal Cliff was charging 1000-1500BT per woman. But it's a very nice large hotel with a private beach.
Enjoy

Yes, any of the LK properties are G/F friendly and for some one who wants to splash out and have plenty of space they fulfil all the fundamental requirements.
Certainly Metro, Royal or Pavilion suit my specifications.

Marriot
Based on your advice, I booked my first trip to LOS. I will be at the Marriot from June 16 to 25.
I am not looking foward to the 12 hour flight from LA to Seoul, then 5 more hours to Bangkok then Taxi to Paradise. From the tasty tales of Soapies to much BOOM BOOM I should recover from my jet lag.
I think I will have to go into training to have the endurance to survive the multitude of BG's.

Good luck and godspeed.
And one final tip: When you're on walking street and you see a chic with the biggest nicest fakest breast you have ever seen and you have the slightest thought she's a dude. More than likely it's a dude.
