Roof Garden Inn

Is this place any good?

There are lots of reviews around, all positive, but non recent.

I stayed at Dynasty Inn last time. Which was quite a walk and not so great. So the Roof Garden Inn seemed like an alternative. What I want to know is can you walk to Walking street from the RGI? Are the rooms larger than the Dynasty? Is it clean and bug free? This seemed to be the case in 2005, is it now?

Has anybody been there recently?

have just stayed there 4 songkran go 4 the big room theyre r massive .Very clean no complaints about the place.U can walk it but itll take a bit of time about 10 mins.I wouldnt walk it in the night the road havnt got any street lighting.Apart from that everything ok.

Stayed at the Roof Garden Inn in January 2007. Great place to stay, nice rooms, the only draw back is the fact that they have no lift. Out room was on the 4th floor and it was certainly a challange getting back upto the room after one too many Tiger beers.
