Clubs in Pattaya......

Me and a mate are thinking about heading to Pattaya in a few weeks......

what's it like for 'normal' clubs like Safari, TaiPan, Tiger disco etc etc in Patong, or obviously the many that there are in BKK.

I like beer bars and gogos, but its also good to head to a club too- just wondering how geared up Pattaya is for that kind of thing????

pattaya is very well geared dont worry...
as far as ive heard, pattaya is one of the biggest wh@@re-houses in the world, so u shouldnt not be bored...
i personally found it very amusing, with great selection and cheaper than other places...

THERE are ;oads of clubs and discos all over pattaya from moon river cafe and palladium in north pattaya through hollywood on south pattaya road down to the clubs in walking street area TONYS/MARINE BAR/LUCIFERS

there are also loads of places with live music bands eg BAMBOO BAR/HOT TUNA/FREELANCER BAR

you will find that for go go bars pattaya is tops there is just no comparing patong to pattaya when it comes to go go bars

I found Lucifers to be the best choice for a disco/club, some nice FLs working there, gets very busy earlier in the night compared with, say, Tiger in Patong. By 12am-1am it was packed.

The front bar is small, and when I was there the music (live band) was kind of latino music but with a distinctly commercial flavour. A bit quieter, bit more chilled, slightly older crowd than usual. In the main part of the club (which is large) the music was more hip hop mixed in with some r 'n' b plus rap and commercial top 40. Heaps of FLs working here. Best time between 12am - 1am to pick-up I think. Someone told me that the dual pricing system is at play in Lucifers - a TG will get charged less for a drink than a farang. Not sure about this, but something to check out and let the Board know.

Marine Disco was very quiet when I stuck my head in one night. From all reports it has lost some popularity. But I think it stays open later than Lucifer, so maybe it gets the "late crowd".

Went into Tony's Disco one night, yeah looked like some wan*er bar I would find back in the West, not my cuppa tea at all. Drinks very expensive. Seemed to be quite a few LBs there one night I was there hiding in dark corners. Couldn't spot much available female FL talent, so I left. Maybe I was there at the wrong time.

Heard Slim has some stunning girls but everything in it is expensive, bit more of a hi-so place...from another forum..

"It is a large venue with two rooms. On the right hand side there is a DJ room with central bar dinking area and large stage with shows and dancers etc. Also has a large balcony area overhead. Nice decor and very impressive sound system. Place was packed. On the left hand side there is the Coyote room where the girls are doing various sexy dance routines, but no topless or nudity. Again large room with impressive decor. Also has private booths with small dancing pods where the big hitters can no doubt rent and have some more private and intimate entertainment. I would say the place is 90% Thai occupied rest Farang.

Now here is the good part, they don’t sell Heineken, San Miguel etc; basically if you want a bottle of beer it is 250bht for a Corona. Now for the next best part, I caught the attention of one of the Coyote girls as she danced, after she finished she came to our table and joined me for the usual chit chat. I asked her if she wanted a drink, yes please she said I will have Tequila. She duly ordered with the waiter and 2 mins later 2 Tequila arrived. I said why two she said lady always have to have one with customer. So this is clearly one of their biggest scams. Then the biggest punch, 500bht for two of the smallest Tequila shots I have ever seen. That actually pissed me off and I left shortly after."

Have actually had a ball in Slim on a couple of ocasions....but agree it makes Tony's seem like they are undercharging......not a place for mongering unless you are a high roller........but its a great place for gal watching....I rate it as one of the best places in Patts for the show though........but more of a place to get yer appetite than eat....unless of course you like paying well over the odds.....very good looking gals in there....possibly some of the best in LOS IMHO....and yes it is mainly a Thai high roler place.....as a falang you will be way outnumbered

i was told by two russian girls that r working there (we really met them by accident and had just one friendly beer with them ), Tony´s is a place owned by russian owner...
my impressions: typical euro or american night club style, posh, expensive, A/C tuned to maximum i guessed 15°C inside, many girls who were just watching carefully and expecting your move to approach them...
definatelly not what u come for to thailand, as u have such clubs anywhere at home...
well, what do we expect when we see merceded SL-AMG behind the corner and r told its the owners car ...
