Just got back from Patts after 2 weeks of fun and drinking. All went well until I departed Pattaya for Bangkok. I usually hire the CR Tours transportation out of the Apex Hotel for transportation back and forth from BKK and Patts. Well this last time my Mp3 Ipod was stolen by the driver on the swithing of vehicles in Bangkok.

I know this because I had my Ipod when we left Pattaya but my backpack was put up front becuase it was "small" when we got to BKK. After I open my backpack at Nana Hotel, I found that my Ipod had been lifted. There were now 2 drivers instead of the one that origionated out of Pattaya

So just a reminder when you travel to keep an eye on your bags at all times and even more so, use locks when ever possible. I've learned a big lesson and wanted to share so this does not happen to anyone else..

I would have kept any backpacks on the back seat with me, regardless of size.

It may be advisable to find a good & reputable company and stick with them, for example I used Mr Toom's service a few times and have never had any problems.

Use the same company every time, you get to know them, they get to know you and a certain amount of trust can be built up.

Mr Toom ain't the cheapest at 1,200 baht each way but reliable.

Have you contacted to the company responsible or the police ? May not get your IPod back but perhaps worth doing ?

I used CR travel everytime from Patts to BKk which was about 6 times with no trouble. This was the first time.

Yes, I contacted the company directly, but they could not locate it. go figure.

they said they would look into it, but you know how that goes. Just chalk it up to lesson learned
