There's bar girls and wannabe's, There's a huge number that are not cut out for sex work, they sit glued to the stool for a week of so, scared sh!tless. The bar owner doesn't take too long to cut his/her losses. If she's still in the bar after a few weeks you have to assume she's making "someone" happy.
Otherwise it sounds like you have found a pearl, no family is sad for her but a plus for you.
