Ok I am booking my trip and want to add a few days in Pattaya. I have heard you can dress in anything and get away with it. Is that true?

I think Pattaya is pretty much anything goes so be foot loose and fancy free and wear what your mood tells you, and if your nickname is anything to go by preferably something low !!!!!!

Given your other thread.. I suggest you come and look first.. You seem to be planning a hedonism style exhibitionist affair.. Thats not Thai style at all..

Thais are actually pretty reserved about what they expect in dress. Sure Patts is sin city.. But if you want to be assumed to be a russian h00ker and pestered by arabs on the street possibly attract police attention.. Then sure.. Risk it.

There are no rules as such but remember this is Thailand and the culture is different to western, that said a farang would get away with more than probably a TG.....so knock yourself out and enjoy

The kind of attire as pictured in the link you posted in General would be fine for a place like "The Castle" in Pattaya......which is a kinky bondage/S+M/leather/fetishwear style club on the 3rd rd in Pattaya.....but you'd need to wear somthing over the top of it to get to the door of the club

This can be a very delicate subject in Thailand but dont fear as we have many experts on this subject right here on this board, so i reckon it would be safer for you to model the clothes and post pictures on here, we shall tell you if they are suitable or not.

But, seriously, if you want to know what you can get away with, just go down to the notorious LB bar on Walking St.(what's the name of it? Help me out here, guys), and look at what the LBs standing in front are wearing. They are not wearing much. That is what you can get away with!

The BGs are quite modest, by comparison!
