|
"The Darkside" in Pattaya. What is it? Any stories?
I've read a few references on some forums to "The Darkside" of Pattaya.
 Can any of the experienced pests on this forum enlighten me on what/where "The Darkside" is? And have you any stories to share from visits there? (Being a good Catholic Italian boy I would never visit any such place  This is purely for educational purposes)

It actually has nothing to do with LB's.
It's more to do with the area over the train line that runs parallel to and away from the beach. Lot quieter (darker) few bars etc........equivlent to Patongs Nanai Rd l guess.

Didn't know about the railway line - thought it was the other side of Sukhumvit.

Damn....I thought there was something more depraved to it! Maybe that's just how my mind works these days (I blame you all!)
I assume it is somewhere that is more regularly frequented by expats wishing to get away from the tourist circus of Walking St? And that prices etc are a bit more friendly in 'The Darkside'?

They sometimes have a 'Darkside' bar crawl organised by Pattaya Talk forum. It's the area on the other side of Sukmavit according to my understanding.
In a different light... It also includes liasons with those of questionable gender. For more info on that take a look at Pattaya Addicts..... Damm deviants everywhere!!!

The darkside is anything to the east of Sukhimvit rd.
A well known darkside beer bar is Noi's beer bar which is owned by a boardie on several pattaya boards who goes by the handle of Kolobos. He has a webcam on his bar with fairly fast bandwith and music too. Nois Beer Bar - Live Cam - Pattaya - Thailand - Live Webcam with Free Chat

THE DARKSIDE as has been posted is on the other side of the railway lines on sukhumvit road i have been there once taken there by adam (hammer) from the cherry bar its an area which is good for an afternoon visit with lots of small soi 6 type bars where naughty times can be had.
adam runs bar crawls which depart from freelancer bar every thursday to a different area of patts including the darkside usualy there at least a dozen guys on the crawl so its a good trip. check pattayatalk.com for hammers bar crawl section where he posts the time date and venue for each thursdays crawl.

Hammer seems like a very nice chap, and I hear good reports all the time, but I hate his bar (and they don't stock brandy) so have never managed to hook up with one of his celebrated crawls. Was in TQ2 when they came through one evening and they were certinly having a good time.

Secrets is by far the most one sided forum of all time after all. I still hear many people across several forums still speak highly of the guy, I don't know him myself though.

being a member of pattayasecrets forum i saw the thread that adam posted and i thought it was very strange but as someone else says i have nothing bad to say about the guy so will continue to drink occasionaly at his bar and as for his problems with secrets THATS HIS PROBLEM 55555
