Long Orn Bar (Next To The Areca Lodge)
Hi All,
I have lost my contact details for a lovely lady I met at this bar in April. I'm almost sure I've got the name right. It is just a little way from the Areca going toward the beach on the same side of the road.
I would really appreciate a postal address or phone number of the bar which I know is a big ask.
If anyone has any details it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Charles.

If it is I can ask someone to find it out for you

Hi Esco,
Yes, turn left out of the Areca driveway towards 2nd Road on the left there is a food place then a couple of bars together. It is the first one I am interested in.
Thanks,
Charles.

Thats what I was thinking as well... had a beer there when I was walking back towards my hotel and it started storming. Not a pretty girl in sight only washed up old LBs...

Hi and thanks for your help.
You turn LEFT from the Areca heading towards the beach. There are two bars after the food place. The second usually has a LB standing outside but the first one, closest to the Areca, has girls, at least it did in April.
Thanks,
Charles.

Pretty sure these are some of the girls working in Long Orn Bar. I spent a bit of time at the bar next door. Nicky Bar. There was a bar behind both these two called Love Inn Bar that had a few LB's

I took a shot of one of the lady boys at the very bar you're referring to.
The photo was to take the piss out of our mate Nick back home.

Both Patong and Pattaya seem to offer the same attractions (Hotels, beaches, golf, bars, girls, sight seeing, restaurants, gyms, shopping, supermarket etc).
Which is better and why?

Nothing sinister Pablo.
I was interested in which place was the better destination through experienced eyes, not from a new travelers perspective, visiting for a brief period.
You guys are cynical and too quick with the boot.
I'd hate to have you on my jury.

I was just thinking....theoretically you could easily fill 2 or 3 nights just pesetering along Soi Diana Inn. It's a magic little Soi. And so close to the beach too! Only 5 minutes walk! 55555

Photo was taken 100 metres from my hotel.
I value learning from experienced visitors, to eliminate surprises and to have more options when moving around.
Two can travel to a town and each end up coming away with totally different experiences.
For example, last trip I ended up in the shittiest hotel in Bangkok with a stomach complaint after eating their breakfast, I paid 1,700bht for a cab ride to Pattaya (including tip) and, paid a lot more for my domestic flight between Bangkok & Phuket than I should have. Things that might have been different had I had access to BM's experience.
When traveling alone, meeting new like minded friends can also be a bonus.
Learning from elite travelers can save a lot of disappointments and help your holiday go well.
On my next trip, I plan to spend a month.
I have a few months to plan and explore my options.
If I travel to Phuket again the Mai Thai Bar could be a good place to put faces to names and be introduced to the inside of the place.
cheers.

I don't want to jump into things here or start a new thread and get fmy A55 flsmed.
So can I ask- Is Pattaya worth a visit if I am going to Thailand, or should I just stay the whole time in Phuket. Is it worth a 3 day stay?
