hotel nearest to Royal Cliff Beach Resort

Hi guys..Need your on-site help.Just want some advise on which is the hotel within walking distance to the Royal Cliff Resort and the PEACH Centre.Three star with simple facilities will suffice. It is kinda hard to figure out the distance and roads on the net without actual scouting right there.Would appreciate some suggestions from BMs.Date arriving sometime in March 08.A nearby hotel that is easy to get to the PEACH and out into the night spots.Thks.

Thks Peter.g.

I was told by an event organiser at PEACH that the access to Royal Cliff Resort from Cosy Beach Hotel is now closed.
Anyone can confirm that?
So how do I get to ROyal Cliff and the PEACH from Cosy...?Any idea how far or how many steps away?
Noticed the enormous price difference for the rooms between these two hotels but the accm. seem of quality.
Or is the event people trying to promote Royal Cliff hotels rather than a nearby competitor hotel which is cheaper by far..

If the direct access is closed it would be a VERY short motorcycle taxi ride there and taxis hang around the entrance at Cozy. Also, no more than a 10 or 15 min walk along the road. Cozy is a pretty decent place.

Hotel Nearest To Royal Cliff Beach Resort

That would be the Sheraton Pattaya Resort which is of a similar standard/price.
In that immediate area as well as the Cosy Beach, there is the Island View Hotel which is much more kind on your bank balance.

A fab place to stay and about a two minute motorsi ride away is the Argyle Apartments, fantastic shagging pads which have my seal of approval.

Argyle Apartments, Pattaya - Jomtien - Deluxe Serviced Apartments

No it ain't TM....It is about five miles away

Not sure about the Cosy Beach being girl friend friendly, a quick email shall sort out that one but, I would imagine there is a joiner fee involved because it tends to target the family market as opposed to single blokes.

Last time I stayed there was 18 months ago, and at that time they were guest friendly. I sent an email to a friend that lives in Patts and he said he heard that they were no longer guest friendly, but he wasn't sure. I would email them and ask if they have a guest fee. Good luck and have fun.

I reckon you are getting confused with the Dusit Resort TM because as Caerphilly's map shows the Royal Cliff is no where near Wong Amat Beach.

Happy New Year anyway mate, I enjoyed your report and I bet you are missing Pattaya bigtime....I'll be heading that way pretty damn soon

And Season's Greeting to you too, mate!

I must say I'm a bit confused. I only found your post about Sukhumvit soi 3 because I was looking for the correct spelling of Nana Tai (= Nana South = soi 4) and this forum came up in the Google results.

Maybe there's another Talbotman on this forum?

THE SOI ON which nana hotel and nana plaza stand is called soi NANA NUA [wrong]

when you cross over sukhumvit road and into the soi on the other side of the road which leads you up to grace hotel that is called soi NANA THAI [wrong]

Anyway, Sukhumvit soi 3 IS soi Nana, and so is soi 4.

Soi Nana Nua = Nana North = Soi 3
Soi Nana Tai = Nana South = Soi 4.

So whoever this other Talbotman is, he was wrong on all 3 counts.

Happy New Year.

And you used the whole 4 posts you've made this year telling him about it !!!!! , at least he tried to contribute something to the forum.

That's strange - I thought I contributed some accurate and precise information. Would you rather that Talbotman's incorrect information was left on this forum for people to find - like I did - and to be misled, rather than have it corrected?

If Talbotman had said SOMETHING in that original thread to admit that his directions were 100% wrong, then I wouldn't have had to have added my correction, would I?

There is another reason why I added my correction to that other thread: before writing my post I looked at Talbotman's previous posts just to see what kind of poster he was, and the post that was at the top of the page was the one in this thread where he was arguing with someone where the Woodlands Resort Hotel is!

Sorry if you, he or anyone is offended by my corrections, but he really should get his facts straight before posting.

I WAS not aguing with anyone mate its friendly banter on here i now admit i got the dusit and royal cliff mixed up !

the only place i stated i was 100% sure about was woodlands resort !

as i told you i dont give 2 f ucks about where nana nui or nana tai are but i have been in bangkok on 28 trips and i have never heard of the road you are talking about being called soi 3 that to me is the next soi along the road ! but heh if i am wrong then as IJ SAYS SHIT HAPPENS I have better things to do than get involved with a troll who as a new member seems to be setting out to annoy people maybe you have been a member on here before under a different name ?

but really this is my 2nd and last time i will answer any of your posts which are designed to wind people up so you are now on my ignore list as you come accross as being an ass hole !
