was looking to go away to pattaya on feb16th it came up with the grand jomtien palace for £573.00 so i thought that sounded ok but doing a seach on the hotel it didnt show up good as in dirty rooms ants all over the place and bed bugs which as really turned me off .as anyone stayed in this hotel

I used to stay there when I went to Pattaya and it was good for the first two stays, but the other two stays were not so good. I didn't have problems with ants, but the place was not as clean as it was previously. Shame really as it's a nice hotel.

You will have to pay if you take a guest back, but if you're taking your girlfriend/wife (and family ?) then it's got everything to keep them all entertained during the day, 2 pools, small shopping arcade - beauty salon, massages, tailor, general store, internet shop. Bear in mind that I last stayed there 3 and a half years ago, so these may have changed.

I'd say try it once and see how you get on, all hotels can be susceptible to insect invasions. I used to pay 20 baht on the songtaews to get in to central Pattaya.

A tip - standard (superior ?) rooms have a side view and also have big (double) beds, Deluxe rooms are at the front and have the seaview but only have twin beds.

I stayed here in september.. Nice and clean. Good pool too..

so it was nice and clean . was looking at a hotel site and a guy posted pictures from the hotel in april and it looked dirty , maybe they got there act together . the bed bugs really put me off . ive stayed in a couple of hotels in pattaya both very good but a little far out

I had nothing to complain about. The rooms where clean,great breakfeast, pool was great, service perfect.
