1st Night in Pattaya... oh what to do?
Hello... Can anyone recommend what one should do on their first night in Pattaya? I have been to Patong and Bangkok a couple of times, so am enlightened on the Thai "way" so to speak... but have never been to Pattaya. Just to set the scene... me and my mate will arrive late afternoon, on a Friday... we will check in to our hotel, freshen up and will then head downstairs for a late afternoon beer... so what would an experienced Pattya frequenter recommend as a perfect evening for a Pattaya 1st timer wanting to aclimatise to the Pattaya atmosphere...? All scenarios considered

1)drink beer
2)have dinner and continue to drink beer
3)leave restaurant and walk down street looking for some nice ladies
4)stop in and talk to the ladies
5)if something clicks, BF and take her to
6)dinner or disco
7)repeat step 4 if necessary
8)try to stay relatively sober so that you can enjoy the end of your evening
9)repeat 1-8 for the rest of your trip
Pattaya is pretty big so a lot of what you do depends upon where you are staying and how far you want to go from there.

Starting at Soi 8... the hard part will be staying sober... it always causes me trouble lol
SeaFox... that sounds like a good plan. Its always good to start off with a plan... even if the plan goes out of the window after the first drink! I think 1 to 4 is a good start! Leaving Soi 8 (if we need to?) Which direction is the best way to head?

So.. from the hotel... left out the door down Soi 8 towards Beach Rd. Then along Beach Rd until Walking St? Unless no 5 and I or my mate click with a BG along the way lol. Any Soi's in between 8 and Walking St worth a gander?

Soi 6 is the ST (short time) street, and soi 7 and 8 have some good beer bars. Short walk from where you are staying. You are a ways from Walking Street so you will probably take a baht bus there from Soi 8. There is something for everyone all over Pattaya.

Just a bit. Just have to make sure the bed is big enough.

uhhhhhh get laid.
Late afternoon go to Soi 6 and get laid. (BYOKYJ)
Recover, then go to Walking St. Sometime after 9 pm.... Pick out a bar, I like the Beach bar early in the evening, happy hour is until well I forget when but its good. Then go to some other bar and get laid again.
Enjoy
