I have stayed at the Lek hotel many times and love the place. Like to here what other people have say about the place. Good or Bad.

I don't get it?
You've stayed there many times & love it.
Nobody elses opinions should matter.
Then again, you may have an interest in this place & you're trying to drum up some free publicity.???

If you like it, then continue staying there.
If there are bad reviews, will you defend the hotel?

For the money there are better hotels out there! The old building is not worth the money when you have hotels like the Pattaya Bay Resort nearby that are much more value for money IMO.
One good thing I must say about Lek is there security are top notch and when BG leaves, they do not give them back ID until they confirm everything is ok.
Also you would think Lek would set up their own website. All their competitors surrounding them have websites......

Staying at the Whitehouse Condotel directly across the road from there right now and can recommend it. Also heard good things about the Dynasty Inn this morning.

I stayed at the Dynasty Inn with my g/f last time and it was excellent - I would recommend it.

Another thing I remember about Lek was their pool had far too much chlorine in there.....

It was insane... I got out the pool and my eyes were bright red and stinging! Didn't use again!
PBR has a nice little pool on the roof tho.

Found some great prices for LK Renaissance. The rooms on asiarooms and agoda start at around $40 USD for a studio room.
A friend popped in there and they were offering walk in prices inc brekkie for 1500 THB.

good value for LKR Sars.....would fit into most BMs budget I imagine...and hard to beat for quality + service at that price.....that's about half the high season price IIRC!
I'm a big fan of the LK hotels
