Urgent answers needed please

Hi guys, im struggling to find accom in Patts for my new years trip this year. Im travelling with 4 other blokes and they all want a pool and i want it to be close to the action of WS. I tried Areca Lodge and they were full but they came back to me with Eurasia Serviced Residence and they need an answer asap or else i might lose my spot.. A few quick questions for those who have been there or if you know about it: Firstly is there a joiner fee? And how far walk would it be to walking st...I looked at the map but not very clear and havnt been up that way by walk well not that i can remember anyway..The room look fairly decent so not fussed about that.. Please if anyone can help it would be very much appreciated.. Thank You

Try the Sea Orchid.

Brand new and south of Walking Street area.

It is a sister establishment to Areca Lodge.

You can find this place also via sawadee & gothailand.

Very impressive decor, pool beach views, breakfast, new furniture, room safe & gym.

Peak periods aside.

If you just role up to the hotel you pay full rates if they have room.

These can be pretty hefty compared to agency discounts,

Booking ahead via agencies or even the hotel gives you substantial discounts.

What you have to do is roll up your sleeves and start e-mailing the hotels of interest, advising them of your needs.

Also go through the online booking process offered by the agencies.

Many don't confirm but come back with an offer if room is available.

Nothing will happen unless you drive it.

Good hunting.
