Pattaya - Boxing

Hey,

I'm going to be in Pattaya for the Hatton fight and was looking for some ideas on where i could watch it. I think it's going to be about 11am Sunday morning but hopefully get a place that will have a bit of atmosphere.

All ideas welcome.

Although i have a lot of respect for Ricky Hatton, you couldnt pay me to be in Vegas this weekend.
i know the Brits are just having fun, but they really do take over down there and not a place id want to be

but cant wait to watch the fight

If Hatton fights the way he did when he beat Kostya Tszyu he will be a real handful.But that was a few years ago now.

The SA DSTV feed will definately show it,so I guess your best bet is The Aussie Bar

OK.. So whats the exact local time (or GMT+?).. I think offshore has that on cable.

Crossover is from 4am SA time on Supersport 5.
SA and UK on same time but not sure about daylight saving re GMT

So that will be 9am Sunday morning in Phuket( 5hrs ahead of SA).Not sure if that's the actual start of the fight or the build-up tho'......

They always start with the preliminaries.Main fight would start 2-3 hours later,IMO.

For people in Patong the Offshore Bar on Nanai Road are definately showing the fight on big screen. Gonna be quite a few people there so should be good atmosphere. Can get a top breakfast there as well.

Mayweather is fairly short favourite to win.The experts say he is a much better class of fighter than Hatton.

Yeah you're right but to be safe you should be watching about an hour and a half after 9am in Phuket,so from 10h30 for the actual fight
