Welcome to the board.
Giving timing and all, I doubt you'll make it work. A taxi to Pattaya is between 1000 and 1200 baht. If cash is a big issue there is also bus service. Don't have any details on the bosses, but I seem to recall that they run every 2 hours.

I will be in pattaya 4 2 months happy days I hope 2 sent regular updates while there & add 2 some of the wonderful contributions from others on this forum
