Question which hotel in pattaya ???

hey guys
i browsed several web pages of hotels as well as reviews on hotels...
the most recommended ones were:
eastiny inn
sandy spring
lek
sunshine h&r

out of these, all the reviews were *****ing on eastiny and sunshine for extreem noise from 6pm till early morning hours...
looks like all the hotels on soi 8 will be like that...

do u have any idea about nice & clean hotel with pool, not very noisy, close to beach, not far from action, no joiner fee, up to 1000,- ???

any info or recommendations will be appreciated !!!
THANX !!!

Eurotel Serviced Apartments

Eurotel Serviced Apartments
Right next to Pattaya Mem. Hospital, and near Soi 7, I believe (lots of bars).
No swimming pool, though, but 2 blocks from beach. Under Baht 1000
brand new hotel, very clean

if interested, try asking for a room facing the street. Live band at night at the bar behind the hotel. Noise still not too bad, though.

Im interested in Sandy spring on soi 13 myself , gets good reviews on other forums not just here , roughly 1000 baht a night but you can have a good sea view from floor 7 & higher , recommended for being quiet compared to many others , in a pretty good location , guest friendly (not even an id check apparently) .
Personally speaking i like the look of it and Paddy (Bm here) says its a good one & i think its fairly new(ish) too which is usually a good thing

The problem i think with a trip to pattaya , like bars & gogo's , there are so many hotels you just dont know where to start.
One guy from USA says he likes staying at the Dynasty inn (bangkok) because they also have a partner hotel with same name in pattaya , so you get free transfer from 1 to the other , so many options to think about.

yes, ive read many good reviews on sandy spring, the problem is that there is some construction works going on (also applies to dynasy inn) which makes noise...
thats why im little bit discouraged...
any other idea about nice & clean hotel, not noisy, close to beach as well action, up to 1.000,- ???

Eastiny Place Hotel

Just came back from Pattaya and I stayed at the EASTINY PLACE HOTEL. I can highly recommend this hotel, it is cheap, clean, with spacious rooms and a large pool. They charged me 800 BHT/night in low season. Also they do not charge any joiner fee. This is not the EASTINY INN which is a bit towards Beach Rd. and if you manage not to get a room at the corners of the buildings then you won΄t notice the noise.
Unfortunately they do not have an internet site but I have some data of their business card:
Address: 315/2-3 M.10 Pattaya Beach Road, Soi 8
Tel: (6638) 427702-5, 427720-3 FAX: (6638) 422999
E-Mail: eastiny@ptty.loxinfo.co.th, eastinyinn@hotmail.com

I always stay at Eastiny Place too. As the music stops at 2AM, I don't think it's too noisy...

It's a brand new hotel so all rooms look more or less the same. The ones at the back of the hotel may be less noisy than the ones close to soi 8 (although I never found the place noisy).
The first time, I paid 600 B and the last time 750 if I remember well. But 800 B is still a good price. You may obtain a bargain if you stay long time (I usually spend 3-4 nights).
I forgot to say that it's a smoking free hotel so smoking is prohibited in the rooms.

Regards,
Bobby

Sabai Lodge, Soi 2

I liked the Sabai Lodge, Soi 2. It was around 850 baht. Halfway between Beach Road and Second Road. Not far from all the massage parlors. Fairly quiet. Good pool. If you need to go to the other end of Pattaya, just walk down to the corner and catch a baht bus.

i have friends living there for 13 years, and they booked me into the royal palace hotel for €16 euro. just take out hotel yearly membership for €8 at the check in desk, and then you get 5 star hotel for a great price. place is spotless and no fee for guests. great safety deposit system and fine pool.5 minutes walk from walkings street.it is off second street and beside the big mall for shopping.

To find the right one

Try this page, there are a lot of personal experiences about the hotels in Pattaya
http://www.pattayapages.com/accomodation/reviews.html
Or this page, there are all hotels having websites:

Hi Joe,
I just talked to my friend's mom at the hotel. She said they were having phone line problems for about a week and just had service restored a few days ago (their internet service is dialup also). If you haven't found a place already, she says to please try again. You should get a response within a day or two. Sorry for the confusion!

I'm attaching front & back scans of the business card.

If you plan on taking 2,3,4 girls back you will have to be extra careful with some of your stuff, Make sure you keep your valuebles locked away and leave nothing out that you cannot afford to lose, And then all you need to worry about is the bedroom gymnastics, Always go for "GOLD"

I dont use viagra, callis, kamagra etc... As im only 23 and would be getting worried if I had to resort to that at my age

If you are bringing back 3/4 girls, You should make sure you have your camera, money, passport and jewelery locked away in a safe, Im not saying they will rob you, But you should be extra careful, Its one thing keeping an eye on one girl but 3/4, You really will have your hands full But will probably need eyes in the back of your head aswell

Also if you do take 3/4 girls, You should BF them from a bar, At least if they do touch anything you can then go back to the bar and complain and they will more than likely get your stuff back for you.

hotel

Check out the "diana inn" on the secound road.
Ive been staying there when in pattaya for the last 15 years, around 700 per night, no joiners fee, pool, 3 good restarants, great staff and rooms very clean.
In that time Ive only not stayed there 2 nights, that was at the apex which is the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at.
cheers Rex

Do you think it will be better to book something from now if planning to be there around 12/13 of April..just before songkra?? or we won't have a problem finding something when we go there? what about prices? better through the web or to negotiate the time you arrive there..last year in phuket i found out that there are places that you can get good deals even without having booked earlier..on the other hand maybe it's too much of a hassle to go there and search around for rooms...I definetely don't want end up in a shithole..or paying more than my plan ( max 1000..the less in room the more in TGs! ) what do you think? any previous experiences from there? keep in mind we will be going mid April (12/13) and we need separate rooms of course (4)..anyone there to tell me from the field news..?
thanks!

Made the mistake of staying at the Royal Wing & Spa on the first trip to Pattaya...they were beautiful suites and we got our own personalized gold nameplates, but no joiners...until we begged and promised to have them out before daylight!!
