I have never stayed at white house resort but have visited friends there many times its a nice hotel in a good location and definately no joiner fees.

i would recomend another hotel 3 minutes walk from white house called the silversands resort it has 2 large swim pools with swim up bars large restaurant and is 1 minute from the beach

have never been able to get an email address for this place but a google search should get you telephone and fax numbers. again definately 100% guest friendly.

I was thinking the same thing, have never stayed there but heard that it is guest friendly. I think a lot of hotels along the Jomtien Beach Road try to cater for families and tend not to like guests bringing back ladies. I'm sure there are hotels that allow, perhaps a Pattaya forum might have more info ?

Jomtien Boathouse is a very good hotel, girl friendly, about 1000baht p/n and right opp the beach.
I have stayed there with the g/f a couple of times and they are very good with a pretty cheap b/fast for about 150baht if I remember.
No pool tho but who needs a pool when you're opposite the beach...????

none of the OP's hotels have JF....in fact it's usually only the big condo style joints in Jomthien that have them

Jomthien Thani is another one to look at...but Nirvana is haed and shoulders above the others IMHO if you can get it at that price....only negative is a the rooftop pool is quite small

I'm nearly certain that I'll book sometime at the nirvana as part of my trip I note the comment regarding the pool and there are no pics of it on their website, there are a few comments around sayings its a bit small so please if anyone has a pic of the pool could you post it up on here.

Nels - as you have stayed there was the studio room or the 1 bed apartment more than adequate for your needs? I don't need all the cooking equipment just a kettle and some coffee...........

pool is a backyard jobby I'd say about 6m x 6m "Welshy boy"...so if ya gonna swim do it Caerphilly555....the beach at the end of the soi is pretty good (not much worse than say Hat Patong but much better than Hat Pattaya)

I found the studio fine mate...they are a decent size...but if ya gonna stay a while and have some regular company a 1 bed appt is nice to move around in and good for the TGs to cook in.....

Nels thanks for the additional info 6 by 6 is big enough to drown in......I just like to cool off rather than swim!

actually they were talking about extending the pool but being on a rooftop I thought that they were just talking baloney....looks like they have as it really was only a square plunge pool before...honest mate!!!555....they've also done + extended the surrounds quite nicely too so that's a big plus

will have a look at that website myself now Caerphilly

Nels they do have a home page but its crap the better pics are on Sawadee, the best rate is on hotels2thailand circa 1300 for 1 bed apartment inc breakfast

the pool pics I pulled off another website after a google search but can't recall which site it was I browsed through about 15 sites to find one containing pool pics

If I recover my memory I'll post the web link

Nels - I'm being mislead by hotel booking sites over the Nirvana some say the rate includes breakfast others say no breakfast.......from other visitor reviews some say no breakfast and again others refer to it being provided

As you stayed there can you confirm if they do breakfast at all. Also beware hotels2thailand as they want 100% payment up front so possibly Sawadee is a better option with a slightly increased rate as they only want a deposit - tho cause breakfast confusion as front page says its included and the booking page says not included

yors.....confused of wales
