Construction at Areca

Thinking of staying at the Areca Lodge, but heard there is alot of construction going on. Is the sound of a jackhammer going to be my wake up call after a night out in Pattaya. Cause that would just suck!!

You might hear similar sounds from the room above if one of the more aggressive guests is staying there.

Thats to be expected from my room, but is construction going to be a noise problem or just an eye sore.

A few days ago, you were saying that the Areca was fully booked?????

Now, you're staying there?

Over the past month or so, you've asked every conceivable question from best BJ bars, nightlife and disco's, BG's and FL's, hotels at ALL locales, transportation around Thailand in general, etc. Now, asking about noise levels at a hotel you're thinking of staying at (in 6 days or so)...that you claimed was FULL, last week.

I'm finding it very difficult to take you very seriously!

Basically, you're either completely full of sh1te...or the worst holiday planner in history!

Yup thats the deal.. Just got an email saying they have an opening, but also noted they were having construction going on. Would like to stay there, but not if the construction is going to be a ruin it. Thats all I'm asking.

Easily explained by the fact that another customer got to hear about the construction, cancelled their reservation, thus freeing up a room which was later made known to those who had enquired.

If you had booked the Areca and subsequently found out that construction work was taking place there. Would you still stay at the place or seek an alternative ??

Wow

I guess I made a few people mad with my questions, especially one in particular. I thought this was a public forum where you can submit and request information about the Land of Smiles. Well no worries. I'm going to be there and enjoy myself regardless. Thanks to all those who helped. CHEERS
