Experiences with The Roof Garden

Anyone been here? I did a search, nothing comes up. I've booked with them and now they're already screwing around with me on the airport transport fee. Their website says 1200Tb, his first email says the same. Then the next email now says 1350. Then the last email says, no we made mistake thats w/o toll roads (website and his first email says it includes it).

Now 150 Tb is no big deal, but I don't like the idea that they're changing things around and not sticking to their word. Makes me feel like I can't trust them.

Whats the word on this place?

Airport transfer should be no more than 500 bht. And if they said free then it should be free. I will bet Thai Management or owners or both.

You can get a nice passenger car booked when you arraive at 500 bht tell them to pound it sideways....

What is it going to be like when you get there...More surprises I am sure.

This is the pattaya section.

He is talking about transfer from Bangok airport to pattaya.

Usually anything between 1000 - 1,200 with a taxi meter

Or 1,500 & up for limosuine (thai air limo's for example)

Ahyes, if the hotel is saying that they made a mistake and the taxi fare has gone up by 150 baht to cover the cost of the tolls on the motorway, that's about right. 1350 altogether is reasonable - you can pay a bit less but you can also pay a lot more. So I don't think they're trying to rip you off this time. We are talking about Bangkok to Pattaya though, aren't we?

Yeah, 150 more TB

is cool with me. I just don't like how they kept changing their story. Now I feel like I can't trust them. I certainly don't want any misunderstandings at 3am when I'm feeling like a fricking zombie from the flight.

Anyone stay at this place, Roof Garden? Are they trustworthy and a nice, clean place? It's one of the few that says they have safes IN the rooms.

Word up?
