Round 2 at Last

For those of you who don't remember, it's now been 12 months since my first trip to Pattaya. Some may recall i posted a trip report on my return. I have no doubt in the world that it was the best boys trip i have ever been on (and i have been on a few).
In my trip report i told you all how i had met a girl, and like many before fallen in love..don't laugh.
Well a strange thing happened a few weeks after my return. I had been phoning and emailing this girl on a regular basis. Then one day out of the blue i received an email from an unknown person. The email warned me about this girl. Told me a few things about her. It gave me a bit of a shock. First i wondered how this person could get my email. Then i realised he had the password to her email and was checking up on her. Anyway, to cut a long story short, the relationship fizzled out to an email every so often. I did tell this girl and she assured me that it was an ex of hers who was keeping track. I decided i didn't need all this rubbish anyway.
I had planned to go back in November last year, that fell through. Then it was April this year, that also fell through. (I had nobody to come with me and didnt fancy going alone). Well finally it is happening again. Oct 30th we are booked (8 of us) and paid but this time it is all in Pattaya. We arrive at night in Pattaya on the 30th oct and will spend 12 days of Drinking, Golf and fun. If it is a patch on the first trip it will be fantastic once again.
PS: To all newbies. I found this forum before my first trip. I cannot tell you enough how helpfull it was. Anything and everything i needed to know was here. Thanks to everybody who assisted. Counting the days now.

Good luck on your next trip and have fun.

2 notes.
First, You should have gone alone ... it can be just as much fun (IMO).
Second, About "Anything and everything i needed to know was here"; I am sure you must have read rule 1: "Don't fall in love"

To all newbies; irishozzy did not read rule 1, make sure you do!!!

Nice report. Yep, the other are right. To go alone is at least as good fun. You always meet up with nice people, but still have the privacy if you want.

Anyway enjoy your self.

I have a question about something that happened with us last time and i was wondering if you could give some advice.

When you go into a bar, it doesn't take long before a BG comes and sits next to you. What do you do, or how do you handle the situation when you are not really interested in the girl who has sat beside you. It happened to a couple of us last time and we didn't know what to do. I realise its all about respect for the girls and them "Saving Face" but is there a right way and a wrong way?

Tell her ...
... that you just want to sit and enjoy you beer
... that you want to talk with your friends
... that you are waiting for some one
... that it is too soon

It doesn't matter so much what you say as long as you are tactful. The understand and they are used to it.

For me 2 or 3 yes maybe, but with a group of 8 it would all become too much for me.
To many where do we go, timings, waiting for people to show up etc.

I always have a blast when going on my own and meet a lot of people.

What's fun though is going skiing with a group, that's a bit of a different kind
of holiday.

yeah
definitely right about skiing

when we were young, we would do trips with 10-15 people

now, whats great, is we are up the mountain most weekends, so with people coming and going, always have someone to ski with

That same thing happened to me. I met a girl named Nim in Koh Samui we kept in touch through email then one day. I got an email by one of her lovers that warned me that nim had aids and stay away. Well pretty stupid / sick jealous way to go about it. IMO.
