Are there any cigar lounges in Pattaya or Jomtien?

Where do you go to find cigars in Pattaya or Jomtien? Do the Thais have cigar shops like we do in the US? Are there any cigar lounges there? Thanks, this is my first trip.

Pardon my ignorance but what's a cigar lounge? I try to get a different kind of smoke when in Pattaya.

I'm no expert but never seen a specialist tobacconist shop during my visits I just get sorted at the 7/11 for ciggies maybe others will help. I was taken to a booze shop on 2nd Road once when we were looking for a special bottle - they may have also covered specialist tobacco products. Shop was on left hand side of 2nd road just before its junction witith central pattaya road as you travel south to north

Basically it's a shop that has a huge humidor that is about the size of a large walk in closet or a small bedroom in which many different kinds of cigars are being stored under controlled conditions. Also, there is a room with a TV and several couches or reclining chairs where you can smoke what you bought and watch TV. Some places have bars too.

Guess not.

You may be thinking about cigar bars, where basically a lot of people come to smoke cigars and enjoy beverages.

I have been a couple of time.
Not a place a non-smoker can stay for a long time.

OK thanks for the clarification, I think the closest thing to that are the little smoking boxes at Bangkok Airport (slightly less comfortable seating though)

With regards to brining in your own supply or buying duty free there are pretty stricy limits on booze and tobacco imports into Thailand many posts on here of people buying too many cheap ciggies in the Middle East and regretting it when they get stopped at Bangkok Customs check. Also there are posts with the exact limits or someone will add that info.

Try Cuban Corner on 2nd Road a short way after the Royal Garden shopping centre I think. Not a lounge it's a shop but there a nice bar just opposite.
