Current State

Guys, has the current global financial crisis impacted the tourist (monger)
levels in Pattaya? After looking at videos posted on youtube and various other places it always looks pretty busy. What's it like now?

i certainlly dunt know the impact there but i am definately begining to worry
with some agitation in pattaya....i hope some of our friends in pattaya rite now maybe able to throw some light as to how bad is it and how long does it seem to last....gonna be thr in 2 weeks..

Well it looks like they have got their objective of disrupting the conference. So I guess it will blow over until the next demo, which won't necessarily be in Pattaya.

Pity Abhisit didnt ask Obama for some of them to provide some real secuirty!

.... guess Thailand can kiss goodbye to any Obama or any other significant leader visiting Thailand ... thats end of Elite tourism for sure!

Yep, they have had their day trip to the seaside, back to work in Bangkok now.
