as it wasn't hit by the tsunami so i would guess that the only effect is more tourists as people are turn away from the west coast, as least for the moment.

Talking

As i wrote before some where here .... Pattaya is over-crowded with hotel´s and cheap guesthouse´s , same bars and BG´s
Think there will be no problem to find room and i will not to make any reservations before i´m going there in a few weeks!

according to stickman

Read this today on stickmans site:

"I reiterate that as per reports in the last few columns, Pattaya is VERY crowded, subsequent to the tsunami that effectively scared many tourists away from Phuket and other beaches on the Andaman Coast. Tourists and working girls alike have apparently chosen Pattaya as the prime replacement option.

And still in Pattaya, hotels report capacity or near capacity bookings. Beer bars are doing a booming business, better gogo bars are packed, and owners of even run-of-the-mill gogo bars are dancing with delight. Not that the beauty of the talent is drawing the crowds. In fact, if anything, the cream of the crop seems nowhere to be seen in Pattaya’s gogo bars. Many top dancers still linger in Isaan on their extended New Year’s holiday"

Looks like Pattaya is doing a booming trade at the moment. I always though Pattaya had heaps of rooms and would never fill up but if this report is true then things have changed as a consequence of the west coast effects.

Don't worry ....... worst thing what can happen is; that you might be b*nging a girl at her place with her roommates watching. You never know what might happen.

Actually this doesn't sound bad at all.
