I just found this pics on another site .
Pattaya 1968 and now .....can say its a small different ...  (Looks like "the farang" have spend some bath there on this years)  Should be really fun to see pics from Patong at same years .... Last edited by Jonas : 20-03-2005 at 08:33.

Queen Ann Travel at the junction of Sai Nam Yen and Rat U Thit have apictre of Patong beachfront from late 70's.. Basically its just a line of Palm trees..
My ex was a Phuket girl.. She remembers Bangla as a dirt Rd.. No electricity at home as a kid.. Nanai was only hard topped in the early 90's I think..

Big difference
last time there was around 1996 didnt like it ,havent been back. might have a look next trip.
