Haven't tried it in LOS but tried it several other places.. It is a great experience.. The adrenalin is pumping and you feel like you can walk on water afterwards.

Done it a few times elsewhere but not here.. Thing that worried me was an ex of mine worked there years ago.. she told me not to do it cause it wasnt safe.. As she worked there it did make me think..

Its not a very high one but high enough to make a big pavement pizza..

I have done a few in the U.K. and got the rope wrapped around my arm last time; end of bungee career. It is a rush though, if you like that sort of thing.

I jumped Uungle bungy jump on Phuket.

It's TOTALY awsome, totaly made me decide that im gonna try parachute soon :P

You also get a certificate that says:

Certificate of Courage.
Jimmy has successfully bungy jumped from a height of 50 meters on 18 december 2004.

The holder of this certificate has courageously joined the elite group of thrillseekers to experience the ultimate thrill of their lives, by Bungy Jumping, here in Phuket, Thailand

I did a parachute jump as well, out of the first plane I ever flew in as it happens, and that is in a different league to bungee; the anticipation lasts for thirty minutes instead of thirty seconds.

I can tell you there are 2 bungy jumps in Pattaya and I have visited both but only jumped at Jungle Bungy Jump at Jomtien beach. I have jumped there on each of my last 4 visits and have absolute faith in their safety measures after talking with the owner who is a kiwi and was one of the first NZ certified jump masters. More about them can be found here http://www.thaibungy.com .

The other bungy jump by the go-karts did not have facilities of the same quality nor was the english guy there willing to talk about safety and looked kinda startled when I mentioned insurance!

In short I have no qualms about recommending Jungle Bungy but I was not happy with the one by the go-karts.

Hope this helps anyone who has any worries.

Gerry28 seems awfully keen on this bungy thing, only posted twice and both times on the same subject. You don't want to confess a commercial interest here by any chance do you Gerry?

I took a closer look at this BM as he signs himself Gez, I thought I was losing my marbles . He only posts once a year so that's ok , maybe a fetish for bungees?

A jump in the field is better than a jump in the air

After a go on the go-karts I was dragged kikcking and screaiming to Jungle bungie by some mates who I had told nimurous stories abot jumpijng out of perfectly servicable aircraft on behalf of the Queen. (stands to attention and salutes!! etc)

What a dump! I hope it has changed! We or rather i had to climb an old rusty indurstrial crane to the top. Strap myself in, look down at some plastic bags floating onthe top of a lagoony pool type thingy and jump off shouting the name of some long dead amricaqn indian! Kochees, two dogs fcuking, jeronimo etc!

paid qutiete a bit of money for the privelige and to be honest, it was a bit pants! Gived me a C-130 at 400mph any day! Just found a bottle of Captain Morgans................Stormin!

There is no amount of alchahol in los that i could drink that would make me ever try bungee jumping .i will take a chance in life like standing in the glasgow rangers end with a glasgow celtic shirt on or even drinking english beer! (maybe not) but what is the point in bungee why not just walk in front of a bus or even hire a motorbike and drive along beach road in pattaya .
NOT FOR ME EVEN IF SOMEONE OFFERED ME £1,000,000 I COULD NOT DO IT!

Reverse Bungy

I am willing to give anything a try , once. (basically, I'm stupid!!!)
Have tried normal Bungy, water bungy etc, but the one I really enjoyed was the Reverse Bungy. You are hooked into a harness and attached to a bungy rope suspended from a crane. You are fixed to a ring on the ground and the bungy rope is stretched by the crane. Then they release you and you shoot UP in the air, it's great !!!
Long time BMs may remember that there used to be one like this outside the ExPat, it was replaced by a "capsule " type one , which also shot you into the air but was more like being on a rollercoaster. I've heard that the capsule one (which went out of business) is supposed to be in Dubia now.

Do I feel an urge to do it again? Hell no
I'll rather get my kicks elsewhere

Yes, there are more interesting things to do with a rubber than to bungyjump.
