Taxi. No more than B1500, including tolls.

Don't ask me how but LT talked taxi into 600bt plus petrol on way down and 800bt back, lift back was with a police guy in an unmarked car, really fast trip back everytime we had any car get in our way he slapped on the siren. She took 40 mins to find the police guy cos everyone kept quoting 1500bt she had told me to wait in bar whilst she found a lift. It might have been thai price versus farang price but her father was fairly high up in police department and she used to flash his card at everyone for everything cheaper than normal, who cares got me a cheap lift.

Not really worth flying from pattaya to bkk as it is more expensive and will take longer.

Your best bet is a taxi from your hotel, Should cost 1200/1300baht including tolls

any cheap alternative
like minibus(van) or bus ?
i need something cheap and directly, don't need to take bus/van to ekamai
then take taxi to airport.

Do i need to switch from minibus to big bus then mini bus when use minibus
service (as some bm say) ?
minibus seems troublesome and take longer time, is it ?

AC minibus from Pattaya to DIRECTLY to BKK Airport is about 400 Baht. there are many companies here that run a fleet of AC minibusses with departures every 30 minutes. You can buy a ticket at any of the 100 travel-agencies in pattaya and even ask your hotel reception to buy one for you. They pick you up at the hotel.

Why be cheap !

Sometimes when i arrive at Don Muang and i am heading for Pattaya i shall hop on a Bus, as long as it is leaving within 15 minutes otherwise it is a Taxi for me from one of the reputable firms located inside the terminal building.

Homeward bound it is a Taxi everytime; I am so fed up about leaving & the last thing i wnt to do is fit into the schedule of some tour operator or bus company. I just book a Taxi to get me to the airport no more than 2 hours before take off, so it costs 1500 Baht, Fcuk the cost
