Is this place any good? Thinking about booking it soon, seems to have good reviews and pricewise its not bad. Thanks.

check this link, i was corrected on the prices but have a read, i like the one on Soi 1 a little dearer but the rooms i compared were far better for the price than soi 2, IMHO.

I was there again in July/August i did have an issue where they did not want to let a girl come up to my room when she turned up, i was already in the room but as soon as i called down they let here up.
It is quiet and easy to escape the madness and i have found the staff friendly.

I still think that Areca Lodge in Soi Dianna is hard to beat for value for money for a 1,000 ish baht room but again IMHO.

I stayed at Sabai Inn in August, nice hotel & the rooms are big but my room was on the side where the beer bars are up the road so you could hear the music till 2am when they close, also across the raod they are building a new resturant for Sabai so at 8am they start work, so if you want to sleep inforget it. i did ask to be moved but the hotel was full. The up side for this hotel is that the staff are friendly, rooms are clean, nice pool at Sabai Lodge which you can use & guest friendly.

Sabai Inn is nice as is Sabai Lodge. Also; Sabai Dee, Sabai Land, Sabai Rooms etc etc

However, IMHO it is better to be based further south closer to Walking Street.

Whats walking street mate? Not to clued up at the minute on Pattaya. Is Sabai Inn still a decent enough location for nightlife, beach etc though? Cheers

Walking street

Walking street is down at the other end of Pattaya. It's closed off to traffic at night and people can walk about. Tons or bars, restaurants, girls. It would be a far walk from the Sabai Inn, but there are baht buses that run regularly down Beach Road. They turn left at the entrance to Walking Street and then go to Second Road, wherre they head back towards the north end of Pattaya where the Sabai Inn is located. I've stayed at the Sabai Lodge across the street and didn't mind the location. Anyway, Soi 2 has it's own nightlife.

soi2/3 has more than enough nightlife.

a lot of people prefer it to the walking st cattle market lol.

and certain bars have their own security so you dont get hassled( you will find out all about hawkers lol) by beggars sh1t watch sellers and elephants lol

if you need a run down on were to go an what to do pop into chaplins guesthouse on soi 3 and spaek to willie over a few beers an he will put you right
