I have been threatening to sort these out for a while..

IRFanView seems to have jacked up the sharpness but I couldnt really be fussed with anything other than batch convert...

The underwater shots really lose a lot of color due to the filtration of light.. Looks much better in person

Hes a lot bigger than he looks in the pic.. 18 - 24 inches.. With the scale he just makes the others look small..

Cool pics, what are you using to take them? always fancied doing some underwater over here, but the underwater enclosure for the D70 is sooo expensive

That was my brothers Ixus with marine housing..

I am using a Sony T9 and will buy a marine housing as soon as its on the market (hopefully thats before Song Gran).. Currently there is only the sport housing only good for 3m and risky to leak (splash proof not diving) as its not been out long.. just point and shoot digi's with a water case basically.

Digis are great for this as you can take 200 to get the 10 ok ones..

It is possible to get some of the colors back.
I have used auto levels in Photo Shop to get better colors

Hope you don't mind me using your picture for this example

Yeah, it would actually be cheaper for me to buy a new digicam with a housing than it would to buy the D70 housing...most of them are more expensive than my camera!!

@Andmel no probs at all with the improvement.. To be honest I was just being a bit lazy.. Anything more than batch convert was not happening.

I know it sounds childish but I dont want to put it up for 1000's of lurkers to read and discover, the beach area is only 20m long or so and its usually only a couple of people there.. a little massage shelter (and beer seller) and round on the next beach a resturant. Keep it empty sounds good to me.

Island residents should be able to get a good idea of where it is by one of the pics and I will tell people direct by PM.. Just dont want the whole internet to be able to see.

Hmm there is another beach like that, or very similiar anyways, but it was very very steep to get down there, only a small restaurant nothing more. But i cant remember the name. Was a little more people there tho, atleast at the time i was there.
