Lemurs Again

Well, been out with the camera again to the same place I got the lemur pics last time. I want to know if I have learned anything.

These lemur pics look pretty good to me. There's minimal cropping here, I'm looking for good pictures straight out of the camera.

A couple of big cat pictures I was really pleased with.

The cheetah one was taken through glass and there was a green cast just above his right eye, cheetah snot on the glass maybe, anyway that's why it is cropped so tight.

The tiger was taken through a fence, but he was so close I could have touched him. This one will print up fantastically well I think.

I'll just put two more up, but I could go on all night

The meerkats pleased me because I think it's a great composition, and the kookaburra (again shot through glass) was just a real surprise, I was not expecting kookaburras in Cumbria.

The only criticism I would have (though I'm no expert) is that the shots are out of focus, the first shot of the lemurs is great, but the others are slightly lacking in sharpness.

I may be wrong, and they may just need sharpening, which would make a huge difference.

No, you are right as it happens. The second lemur shot is definitely lacking sharpness, but I kept it because the eyes are bang on. I have better ones though, will dig one out in the morning.
