Smile something about me and Surin beach...

Whenever I seem to take my camera for an afternoon to Surin beach I get treated to a great days for pics and sunsets.

1 & 2 Couple of Jellyfish out and about
3 Just some rocks, but love the rock textures against the water movement

Spent the afternoon reading the paper, listening to music, eating some lovely seafood, and getting battered by the pretty big waves coming in...then it was sunset time

At one point found myself just staring, thinking how it could be any better, sometimes I feel very lucky to have places like this on my doorstep.

(The colours have been saturated slightly, but only to get back to the original colours I saw that are lost converting to jpg format)

Uh yeah, I'll be in Kata/Karon then I think, Surin beach is gonna be closed for the majority of July due to beach resurfacing and restaurant construction.

Just stay in Patong, no need to make the trip all the way up there

Oh oh IJ, you might have to rethink your July tour if this is true.

Nope, never yanked anyone's chain

Have you not seen the Gazette, they had a request out asking anyone from Ireland coming over to Phuket in June/July to bring some turf for the beach resurfacing and some Guiness beer mats/towels for the restaurants they are putting up.

Come to think of it you may be the only one on the beach as there must have been more dogs on the beach than tourists today...

though that's how a beach should bloody be in my opinion!!

Should have kept that one going a bit longer but I was laughing too hard!

Give me a shout when you're up there, I always love a trip to Surin, and you can even pop over to Laem Sing and call the lifeguard when I nearly drown trying to body surf
