Moon Pictures
I posted this pic in another thread, but I think it's worth posting again here.
I'm a bit frustrated with this because it was a fantastic opportunity and the picture is a bit wanting, I would really like it sharper.
The trouble is that to expose it correctly given the lighting conditions, it needs to be exposed for a while. As the thing is moving, exposing it for a while makes it blurry, aargh!

You were lucky to have clear skies - misty and overcast here in Hong Kong.
I guess you used your zoom lens, what aperture, exposure and ISO did you use?

Great colouring Steve - the air here too humid to get sharp pic although with video nightshot got some good footage but miss out of the colour.
Digital pics taken did not have enough sharpness.

Just looking at the EXIF, I think that was my mistake. I used ISO 200 and should have used 800. I was trying to get the stars in the pic as well, but it's turned into another blown opportunity.

Had a good view of that lunar eclipse last night, nice clear sky here in Newmarket...How often does that occur ?

Its something like every 6 years I think, We had a good view here I was working nights so watched quite a bit of it, change for it not be raining here.
