Good camcorder / video forum?

Hey All,

having *supposedly* justified the cost <ahem> on a business level, I am now seriously looking at getting a nice camcorder, some editing software / blah .. anyway, not to bore you here, can anyone recommend a good forum I could haunt for a while to get a background and some advice before I lay down the money?

I have not been in the marker for a while, but I am using Ulead for editing. Works for me, but I don't know if it still comparing to the best.
