Going by the current exchange rates of 30 -33baht to the $US you can buy cheaper at home.

Digital Camera Packages: Digital Camera Accessories: Digital Camera Kit

You may do better at BKK Airport duty free, but I obviously don't have access to their prices. Also, US customs may sting you for duty on return, be aware of that wherever you decide to buy.

That's not a bargain, they can be had here for around £50 less than that.

Forget BKK duty free, nothing cheap about the prices there.

Remember if you buy it in BKK you can get 7% returned to you in cash when you depart.

I bet that price in India is body only, not with the kit lens.

AV Cameras next to Robinson on Charoen Krung has in my very recent experience slightly better prices than Foto File.

They are also much cheaper for CF cards, do not buy CF cards at Foto File, no bargains.

That said IT Mall Ratchada is the best place for cards

Then that is very cheap, these days I find the disparity between countries nowhere what it used to be.

I was in Hong Kong last week and the Canon stuff I was looking to buy was cheaper in Bangkok.

4GB Extreme IV cards 266 speed, 4000THB, may have a new one this weekend.
