This bad boy landed on the beach a couple of miles away from where I live last night, it's all over the news today. It's about 200m away from the sea wall, so I will go back later and hopefully get some more shots if it moves.

I got loads of shots but have to wait and see which ones the newspapers want before I post them

It says a lot about our luck up North that the only cargo coming our way so far is bags of compost. The Southerners get BMWs and motorbikes, we get shite!

Just watched it on the news,7m wave and then shifting containers of cars causing all sorts of problems.Maybe your get a new car Steve..

Was shitweather. Got one similar like that in my port yesterday evening. Trailers on weatherdeck turned over and "wrecks" have to be discharged by crane. Crew thought one container went overboard (warning was sent to shipping, search organised) but they found it back on board in a completely different position after arriving in port.

Just another picture but a better one. I've been down again this evening and it's still pretty wild so Riverdance is stuck where she is for a little while.

We are seeing low tides at the minute too, if this happened in a few weeks when the tides were higher the outcome might have been very different. There's little damage as it is, to the boat, the cargo or locally.
