I try to read all the post - but it is impossible
I go individuel to each post with the bottom "last unread post".
But after the weekend if i´m not so often on board i have to mark some post as "read"

Always straight to New Posts button. Just lately I tend to look at WHO has posted rather than WHAT.

new posts button, if you log onto the forum most days then it's seems the best way or you end up losing track. but somtimes if i just want to look for views on a certain subject like a hotel or a certain bar then i just use the search button.

I always use the new post button and i used to avoid the threads which did not seem very interesting, but now almost every thread takes a turn and ends up being nothing to do with the original topic so i find i have to read them all.

New post button daily to keep up and then read the threads that look interesting. Only downside with new post button is you are not sure which section you are in and can accidently flame someone in the newbie section, not that I would do that!!!

Before you click on the link to the thread, look at the far right column.

I do the same. The threads that contain a new post are in bold, so I only look at those. I might ignore a thread if it does not interest me. It's definitely getting harder to keep up with all the posts.

I just bimble my way through the threads, catch up on the new postings.
I find there are the 4 C's. The Cruisers, who just look, take what they want and make a formed opinion for themselves! Great. The Cliques (people who have been in the LOS at the same time as each other and obviously had a great time there and share that with each other on the Forum) There are the Contributers. Then there are the Commenters! I normally go for the contributers names first then catch up on the commenters! Which are normally the smaller posts.
Guess I am guilty as charged with a high post rate. Hopefully not all of it is B0llox and usually more than just a small comment. I have tried to keep the B0llox in one or two of the longer running threads where people can visit and just talk B0llox!! All kinds of Forums have a certain amount of that! It leaves the general Forum and still the vast majority IMHO, for what it is intended to be - a place for people to visit to find advice and personal experiences of planned or potential expensive travel to the LOS.
Don't forget we have been watching the Forum membership climb and climb (A fact I am sure the Mods, Nicke and SteveM are happy about!) towards the 10,000 membership mark! Therefore, potentially you have (and I have checked the maths with Sir Gez!) ten times the potential BM's able to and actively contributing to the Forum than you did when there was 1000 Members! If that makes sense. IMHO There are bound to be more posts!
Some are good, some are bound to be bad!
