Paul, Prague is the most beautiful city I have ever visited, i am not one for architecture but you just cannot be more amazed by the city, girls are beautiful as well, so an added bonus.
My number 1 city yet to visit?? tough one I, like you, love travelling so got to be, hmmm.. Hong Kong, maybe Sidney, but will do both over next couple of years then the beauty of this little question is I will have a couple of more places I will want to go.

Must agree with Dodger on this one - visited Prague last summer and was totally blown away by the place.
It's set-up a little like Rome in that the city built on number of hills, very beautiful with a wealth a architectural treasures and small enough to be easily accessible on foot - the best way to explore any city IMO.
It also has a large population of American ex-pats and the women are indeed quite special, unfortunately had a partner with me so didn't check out this angle as much as I would have liked Perhaps needs to be seen soon as it seems to be becoming more popular with the stag-party/lager lout crowd.
I only discovered Asia and LOS a couple of years ago so for the foreseeable am planning on doing all my trips in this direction

Kathmandu-for the mountains
Favorite cities so far:

I genuinely love to travel and do a lot of it for my work and I've lived for quite a while now too.........so have been to almost everywhere mentioned on this thread with the exception of a couple of Seafox's "Never want to" places............
so here is my list of top cities:
USA..........NYC..........the grand pappy of them all.................best art collection in the world (including the buildings)
Cuba/Havana.......one of the best times I have ever had in my life
UK........London.........as per NYC only less grand and less condensed
Italy......Venice/Florence/Rome...............breathtakingly beautiful cities all of them
Spain.....Barcelona/Madrid/ Granada/Sevilla...........one big party....and the clubs don't open until after 2.00am.........Spain is my favourite overall country
Russia.....St Petersberg...........the Hermitage has the biggest most impressive art colection under one roof in the world and the architecture is amazing
Central Europe.............Prague......some wicked clubs and great architecture....budapest ditto only its a lot seedier
Asia........Siem Reap/Cambodia......go and see the Wats (temples) here as soon as you can.......also Hanoi is a wonderful mix of French colonial and ancient Asia
Sydney/Aus + Wellington/NZ ..........my hometowns and places of work........both naturally beautiful harbour cities plus Sydney's Opera House is one of the most important architectural structures in the world

Two cities left on my 'Before I Die' list:
Florence - for the Duomo and Ufizi museum
St Petersburg - for the Hermitage
Non-essential but 'would like to see:
Prague - for the buildings
Berlin/Munich - for the Nazi history tours
In SEA (1 week in Bangkok, followed by 1/2 week in destination-I-tell-people-I'm-going-to, followed by 1 week in BKK):
Chiang Mai
Myanmar (Burma) - Rangoon or maybe just a border hop from CM, just to say I've been
Cambodia - Phnom Penh with side trip to Siam Reak/Angkor Wat
Vietnam - Hanoi, maybe HCMC and any war tours just for a larf.
Finally I need to get to China sometime and get a feel for the place in case I get the urge to teach there.

noticed you listed Vietnam TYfon my mate just returned home from a 2 week tour of vietnam.. he has been to thailand more times than I can count and had mixed views on the place..he said the war tours were the best part of the trip the tunnels and tours were good but the night life didnt impress him to much ,,he had a bit of free time and couldnt find a good massage anywhere..if you know what I mean! even Siagon he was battling to find a good bar..I dont think he will go again, Maybe los sets a pretty high standard in bgs and we judge other asain countries by that!!
