Rear entry, more easy if you have a pram.

Try not to use them and avoid them if not really needed....
If I need one, who cares where the damn entrance is!
The day they take them off the road and replace them with either something like the bahtbuses or meter taxis will be a great day for tourism on Phuket.

not 'up to' anything...just a question.
I prefer side entry - easier to sit and look out either side at passing BGs!

Hey Nicke,
You got me, on that one!
Had to do a "google search", to see what you were talking about? (pram)
Your darling Nathalie, of course. (see under, traveling with children)
I agree, with the "rear entry" (tuk tuk), in that case...And, I will add, that I prefer the back entry tuk tuk, on a "drunken" drive home, myself. Seem's easier access, and roomier.
I no longer argue with these guy's, over fare's! Let's see..."200 baht"?, "No way, 100 baht"!
Next, the driver say's, "You just drunk falang!"
Next thing I say is, "XXXX XXX, your just an XXXXXXX"....etc. (Mao mak mak)
Lucky, not to get a knife in the gut... (all, over 100 baht)
My lovely "tiirak", finally say's, (angrily), "Why you argue?...Cause trouble, over 100 baht? You give tips, way over 1000 baht, at MTB? Don't make trouble, please..tiirak."
She's all too right!
Pablo

Predators
I avoid using them unless vital.
It is almost as easy nowadays to get a private saloon car taxi. There are a lot of freelancer Taxi drivers hanging about
You can do the journey in comfort and the same price as a Tuk Tuk.

I prefer the side-entry the good things is that you can see both sides and besides if a pretty BG is sitting infront of you the view to her lower area is better than if she's sitting infront of you in a tuk tuk with rear-entry (too close)... God Im a pervert
I didn't have any problems with them this time and they didn't bother me very much or maybe I didn't pay much of attention to them. Not even the annoying tailors did bother me much, except from one or two idiots but I didn't give it much thoughts.

I suspect 'buggies', as in 'baby buggies'.
Although most middle-class and upwards Americans will refer to the means of moving children about as Juanita or Rosario. Those few who actually come into personal contact with their children, 'pram' = 'SUV'...
