33 But they have changed the names of a few of them and divided a couple of more. I was in the old Czechoslovakia, so I don't know how to count that one. I might be missing one or two also.

That reminds me of a personal experience. In about 1983, when in Germany, I picked up the quality American paper the International Herald Tribune. "America sends aid to Grenada" was the front page headline. All the other English papers headlines were to the effect "America invades Grenada". Never bought the IHT again.

Wow... it seems that the majority of BMs travel alot.
I have been in: Singapore, Malaysia (Just passing), Thailand (HatYai), South Africa (Cape Town, Johannesburg, Sun City), Argentina (Buenos Aires), Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), Australia (Sydney, Perth, Melbourne).
And to various towns in Indonesia.
I want to travel around Europe one day

I'm feeling like a real lightweight with just 20 countries. But I've done 59 major cities. Sucks cause a lot of travel within North America only counts as two countries.
My next Euro trip should up the count. :-) I should also get more adventurous on my visa run trips.
