Only one place on earth I'd rather be: LOS

Well, we natives don't call it that. We say the whole word almost always, "San Francisco". We also call it "The City". But I have a feeling that folks from all major metropolises call their own capital that. Like in "Dragnet" Jack Webb says, "This is The City.....Los Angeles, California".
It's nice for everything except for finding women that are willing to go with a 43 year old bespecatcled loud mouth with a sizeable beer gut. But this would be the same anywhere. Thank GOD for LOS.
This weekend is the North Beach Jazz Festival, so it will be great fun around my 'hood this weekend.

Small town close to Kingston,Ontario, home of Dan Akroyd and The Tragiclly Hip.
It's right in the Thousand Islands region of the St Lawrence River in South Eastern Ontario.Great fishing and some of the best fresh water wreck diving in the world.

Well, my certificate say's Denver, Colorado...USA
I was found in a ladies room, at a bus terminal in downtown Denver. I guess I was abandoned (by my mother, father...or both) at the "approximate age of 2 weeks. (they guessed)
Ophanage, in Denver, until the age of 7.
I was adopted by a "mormon" family in southern Utah, and lived between "Hurricane, Utah...and Colorado City, Arizona"..until I was 13 years old.
With rampant poligamy (plural marriage), and incest, in the community...State investigators, removed me, and 4 of my (family)...and I was relocated to a "boys school". in North Dakota, USA.
The "school", had a catholic priest as administrator....(he was ALL TOO FRIENDLY, with the students...as well!)
At the age of 18, I left and joined the United States Marine Corp. Served my country for 4 years...returned from Veit Nam, and attended college... etc. etc.
I guess, a little off the subject
Yeah! Denver, Colorado.

I think it might explain why Pablo likes to ring the bell when in LOS. As a child with such a poor upbringing he now feels the need to share his wealth. That's my amateur psychology analysis

Thanks Johnny.
Life goes on...But, being the sensitive kida' gut that I am...It still is painfull, from time to time.
It always helps to talk things out...
Don't know your itinerary, but I'll be in LOS (various locations), from 9/11 (JEEZZUS...911 ...didn't think of that ), until 10/19.
Perhaps, if our paths cross, we could sit down and enjoy 10 or 15 beers, and a few shots!5555
BTW, congrat's on 10K

Just realised that I was born in the hospital in Rochdale (Birch Hill) that I watched my Grandad die in, My Dad have his leg cut off in (Didn't watch that) My Daughter was born in (Did watch that) and got a shiver down my spine realising that life is indeed................Short!
PS I am not the Denver Pablo was born in, just to clear up a few PM's there..........Thank you.
