Blowing your Baht
H all,
Was wondering how much different BM's are happy to part with on a trip to LOS, say in an average week (not includung accommodation). Including food, beers, women, shopping and other activities:
a) less than 20,000 THB in an average week
b) between 20,000 and 50,000 THB in an average week
c) between 50,000 and 80,000 THB in an average week
d) Over 80,000 THB in an average week (thats almost 11.5 thousand Baht a day boys!)

With accomodation out of the equation, I averaged $220aud per day in August (22 days).......Works out to be approx 45,000thb per week.
That includes beers, cigs, girls, massages, meals, a few presents etc, shooting & other activities.....Basically living like a king for a few weeks.
I'm sure you could get out of it for $100 or less a day........But not the way I like to carry on.

Yup you have the same logic as me: Its basically a massage a day, a girl-a-day, plus food/beer and then presents for family back home.

Around 5000 B per day when in Patong (most of it at MTB) + accomodation so I'm in the "C" range.
I will try to be in the "A" zone for my next trip (When I stay in Phichit, I spend less than 10,000 per week).

Not sure how to vote on this one. First week back I'm a solid C, but then I settle back down again, get out of Patong and go home to Karon where I already have a bungalow.

I budget for 6000 baht a day so that would be 42,000 a week... I dont spend all of that tho so i would have said probably round the 30,000 baht a week month

Of course it is easy to say how much your spending but without having a relative timescale its kind or irrelevant.
For example exactly the same person with the same spending habits could be just as likely to be a d or a high a..
If your in Thailand for a 7 day trip then you could easily blow through 100k sampling everything you want to see and do, best resturants, multiple girl soapies, nights out, tours and trips etc.
If your staying for a month you probably do all the above but spread it over a month with more normal nights mixed in.
If your here for 6 months you try some of the tours and trips, you settle into the activites you enjoy, you eat in more local places usually, your daily costs is down.
So I can see how the exact same person would have such a diverse spread.
