smoking in LOS

Does anyone else in here only smoke when they ae in LOS.......and by that I really do mean only in LOS......it would be a very very rare and drunken night that I would ever light one up when not in LOS.........and even then I would probably stub it out after 2 drags......

Dunno.......I guess it's the only time I ever really feel like one........you know out in the sois....on the lash.....warm night....plenty of interesting things to look at going on all around you.....nothing to do with your hands.....all yer mates lit up and puffing away in the bar.........geeze I feel like one now....

seriously though....does your bunga consumption go up or down in LOS...........or is it pretty even.....or are you like me and just don't smoke at all in between trips.........?????

I've developed this silly habit of smoking when l have any more than about 4/5 drinks (Both in Oz & LOS)........started about 6 years ago........would never smoke whilst sober.

I wish I was in a position where I could pick my times to smoke. I started when I was 6 years old and finally managed to quit 23 years later. For years I longed for a smoke every day. Today I have no real urge, but still like the smell when others smoke around me. I still consider myself highly addicted and know that if I allowed myself to smoke after a specific number of drinks, I would be right back. I smoked 3 packs of Pall Mall or Cecil (Danish) per day when I finally quit. I envy those who can smoke only on occasions.

I haven't had a smoke since my last trip to LOS. When I was in BKK every night I would smoke a pack or more when I would hit the bars.........it just goes too good with beer. My last trip was in June 06 and I haven't been craving cigs........just LOS.

Usually I am only smoking when I am somewhere out. Like in a restaurant after the meal, in a bar (here is still allowed) or when sitting on a terrace having a drink.
At my home or anybody elses, I don't smoke. Unless the person that I visit smokes as well. Then I light up one or two also.

There is not really much of a difference between smoking here or in LOS for me.

I started smoking before i started drinking.

But after a while, i realise i only smoke when i drink. Other than that i wont light up.

I dont smoke either in Norway. I used to but I quit several years ago. But I smoke when I am abroad and I do intend to smoke in LOS. That is sometimes a problem because if I haven't smoked for many months and suddenly smoke 20 cigs and get drunk It happens that I get really sick from a combination of nicotine poisoning and beeing hungover. So what I tend to do is a week before I travel I will start taking snus (snuff) so my body gets used to nicotine.

When I drink alot I need cigs

I was really worried when I heard about the new smoking laws in Thailand but I understand it is still legal to smoke in bars and restaurants??

have you ever noticed when you go away to a conference then some of your none smoking colleagues who get all high and mighty at work some start the “ I’ve don’t normally smoke, or can a borrow a cigarette for my friend if you don’t mind. Routine

I am lucky i suppose, as i have never smoked and never had a desire to even try (sport mad when younger) and with the new smoking laws coming into effect in the UK in July effectively making you smoke outdoors as you cannot smoke in a working/public environment... might drive more people to go to LOS for a Smoke in a public place. My drivers in my business are well P**sed off as they cannot even smoke in thier cars at any time !

well did it again over Xmas/NY.....about half a pack a night........and haven't had one since returning home last week........the thought of lighting up at present makes me feel ill......

Did notice the first time I had one in LOS...probably 4 months since I had one or had been in LOS.....was a bit piussy already....and then got the spins.....haven't had that feeling since I was a teenager.....55555......it went within a minute....but took me by surprise that's fer sure.......

Cant drink beer without smoking. Cant smoke without beer.

But otherwise i figure smoking is just lack of intelligence.
