Dunno what happened to my post - fcuking internet connection here keeps dropping out so I never know when a post has gone or not.
There has only been one Asian Bond girl, so you know where my vote has to go, but Ursula Andress was pretty hot too.

Don't forget Akiko Wakabayashi, and Mie Hama (as "Kissy Suzuki") in "You Only Live Twice"!
"In Japan, men come first, and women come second."
-Tiger Tanaka
".....or not at all."
-Austin Powers
If I remember correctly, in the book version of You Only Live Twice, Bond ends up with amnesia and marries a nubile Japanese pearl diver.

Personally, I’ve always rated Moore ahead of everyone else. Just watched all the movies on UBC which simply reaffirmed my belief. Thought Brosnan was next-to awful (and NO, not only from having bad scripts to work with). To me, Bond as a character should be somewhat of a caricature (one reason why I did not like the newest, by the way. A good movie, but not “Bond”). Invincible, uber-confident and with just about enough dry humour.
Oh, and I still think Jude Law would’ve made a great Bond. He has one of those classic looks which also mesh well with the contemporary audience. A sissy? More so than Brosnan? Don’t think so. I thought Law was tough enough (and believably so) in Cold Mountain. Ok, a receding hair-line, but maybe the first bald-Bond somewhere down (up) the line? Since we’re getting soooo politically correct with the Bond-girls and all.
I could also envision Joseph Fiennes doing an excellent Bond. IMO, both Law and Fiennes have magnitudes more comedic talent than Brosnan and Craig, which to me is an essential part of the character. And erm... more handsum. Too me, Craig is just TOO scruffy.
Favourite Bond movie?
For Your Eyes Only.

Agree that Bean would not have been "that bad". But sleek, classy, rough and funny? Just doesn't cut it for me. Also, I think a "younger" Bond would've been preferable.

One of the women in For Your Eyes Only used to be a Fella.
See: Urban Legends Reference Pages: Movies (For Your Eyes Only)
But did he cross over?

I was trying to envision Ewan McGregor as Bond, but couldn't. Why not? He's a Scot....

1- Pierce Brosnan
2- Sean Connery (I would vote for him as the best Bond as well)

Connery still the best but i think Craig did the character justice in a film with a bit of a nothing plot. Best stunt was when he trashed the car- it doesn't have to have bells and whistles to do a stunt that puts yer nackers in yer throat when u watch it.

After watching the excellent "Blood Diamond" the other day, i would have to say that Di Caprio (Or however you spell it!) made an excellent Rhodisian Merc. Ok, maybe not Bond, but would think he will be a very good 'badie' in a Bond movie.
I used to think he was a bit of a token actor but his performance in The Departed was good, he is excellent in Diamond.

I watched Thunderball today and A View To A Kill yesterday and have no doubt that Connery gets my vote. I do like Roger thought and he gets my second vote.

Sean Connery is the legendary James Bond. Best film of the serie was Goldfinger with Pussy Galore.

Just to add my 2 cents
I thought Brosnan was a good Bond just ,IMHO, the scripts for Die Another Day and Tomorrow Never Dies were weak. Goldeneye is probably my fave Bond movie.
Connery was a legend but lacked any really cool bad guys in his movies. That was a disapointment for me.
Moore was a little cheesey but i did like Live and Let Die, Man with the Golden Gun and a View to a Kill. Bad guys were pretty cool in his movies.
New Bond (Daniel Craig i think his name is) looks cool. Enjoyed the new Bond movie and providing he gets some good scripts will be good.
Dalton was a disapointment but i did like Licence to Kill
Lazenby was never gonna be a Bond.... Was a shite movie with a poor Bond and IMHO the worst Bond film.
Best Bond girl..... Denise Richards and Sophie Marceau i liked both from The World is Not Enough, Onotopp from Goldeneye was my personal fave (I think she was played by Famake Janssen but not 100% sure if thats her name, the crazy Russian bad girl who likes to kill people by getting them between her thighs)
