theres not a country on there that i dont want to see

thats a real struggle with me. go see different places or go see my friends in phuket

i think after this trip i will maybe do one short trip over the new year every year but my other holidays will be to places i havent seen before

if i end up with my tg living over here with me, ill either bring her along if i can or if she doesnt want to go, she could go home to thailand while i go away

Having lilved and worked in the region for years I have been fortunate enough to have travelled around and visited most of these already. I voted for China and Laos.

Well if Cuba were on the list, I'd have to go with that since I leave for Cuba on Monday....
Voted for Cambodia though because it sounds like Cambodia is now what Thailand was 20 years ago. Plus it's getting a lot of good reviews on this forum.

After 3 trips to Phuket I figured it's about time to check out other Asian countries so the 1st week of January I'll be in Cambodia for a week followed by 2 weeks in Phuket. I've always wanted to go back to Vietnam (stationed at Danang in 69-70) so hopefully my following trip will be 2 weeks in Vietnam and 1 week in Phuket.....All trips would have to include a stop in LOS as I don't think I could fly for 20+ hours without spending at least 1 week with friends at MTB.

I voted for Singapore and Indonesia. I have many (business and non-business) friends in Singapore, so it is always nice to be there. Indonesia keeps apealing, because being Dutch, we still have a certain attraction to this country.

For cultural aspects, I would like to visit China and Japan, as they are quite appealing also.
However, since my last trip, it will be Phuket again. Most probably I will return early March, if my working schedule allows it. Had a great time and miss the good people at MTB and other places, I have meet there some weeks ago.

I want to see more of LOS for a start! (I never made it to Patpong 555.)

But apart from that, Vietnam is top of my list of countries I want to see next, followed closely by Cambodia and Laos.

I am planning a longer trip this time (around 6 or 7 weeks). I will hopefully be getting a look at Vietnam and Cambodia.

Still researching the way I’m going to do it, maybe make a visa run from LOS.

Looks like next year though its going to be a trip to LOS in March/April to take TG back to Phon Phisai in Nong Khai and a trip to Vegas in September with a couple of mates, then that will more than likely take me upto a trip to LOS for Xmas once more.

already going to LOS next spring or I might have gone with you. Costa Rica and Brazil are both on my list.

Maybe we can get a MTB forum group together in the future to hit Latin and South America. I know Ally wants to go also.

Cambodia is high on my list. Even though I have been to Thailand 6 times I have never been to MTB (or even Phuket without company) and I have never been to Pattaya so the next trip will be Phuket/Pattaya. After that Cambodia.

I think its because he presumes that we have all been to Thailand so he asking what other countries in that area we would we like to visit.

Okay, so the question is which country "next" to Thailand ;-)

Cambodia & Vietnam I would say sound very interesting to me, otherwise I wouldn't buy a direct ticket to either of them without hitting Thailand.

Same same. I really should have a proper look at Thailand instead of a couple of nights in BKK and Phuket

Vietnam is top of the list for next destination to see. Followed by Mexico/Cuba.
