I have heard of it on BKKtonite.. People were discussing buy outs and what was a 'fair' buy out for a gogo stunner (in fact i really cant remember if it was only on gogo girls..).. Lots of guys saying they never would on principal and others saying it was a way of letting the girl gain face and have a free ride if she wanted back into the job.. quitting and restarting seemed bad to them (tho its not my experience)..
Just curious whats the bar set prices ?? Or can the girls set a price.. Or what ?? Do you give any back to the girls.. Its all a new one for me.. Then again I only bar hop through BKK.. never spent long periods there..

I havent seen or heard about it many times but when I first moved here I knew one bar owned by a Thai family who threated the girls pretty bad, if the girl find a boyfriend and wanted to quit she had to pay 5000 baht to the bar, otherwise they would cause big trouble for her. I know they had beaten up their girls before once in a while.
In my opinion, the girls are free to do whatever they want as they are just "freelancers", they are not owned nor employed by me or other bars, just earning comissions by helping us. Quote:

Bars in this town range from salaried + accom, to salaried or accom only, to commision (at this point theya re FL's) to just free drinks for popular girls (loose FL's).. I know one of my mates under Tiger just started a few hotties on full salary..

Yes, I am aware of that. But if girls on salary, then just pay for the days she worked. E.g. if she want to quit in the middle of the month, just give her half salary or deduct whatever is agreed if she dont show up for work.
I still see no reason to demand money if she want to quit, it is a question for you to deduct money, not the other way. I had lady house sometimes when the girls requested that, e.g. in a slow season while they didnt have money to pay for their own rents, but in my experience many girls dont want to stay in a lady house, they want to stay for themselves or some friends. When I had lady house, it often ended up with conflicts and thefts among the girls. But I know it is working fine for many others. So at the moment no lady house and no salaried girls, except for staff (4 including Ead). Free drinks to the girls. Quote:

A friend of mine had to pay 5k to take a girl out of a bar in Patong. She was just an ordinary bg, but the farang-barowner wanted the money.
I dont like that style, allmost like slavery....... At least my girls are free to come and go as they want.........I dont pay for a barhouse at the moment as my girls dont want it. But if I was paying for a house, I would expect those of them that was liveing there to show up in the bar every night..... Geir

Its pretty common in gogo's. Patong is 7K and I believe that Bangkok is 10K. Had one girl in Playschool, finish 3 times with 3 different guys.

sabai room in pattay, and im sure the other ones are like this. when gail left she had to pay money to leave. but she told me its more for the right to come back when she wants. a girl who doesnt pay is not welcomed back.
i told her that she shouldnt pay because they make alot of money off her, but she didnt seem to mind. i think it was 5000-8000baht

I am very new here so please dont feel that I am spouting off. I just wanted to say that checking the sexual health of the ladies is a great idea but who is checking you. I have heard horrible stories about guys catching the black lion and going out on a revenge **** spree. If you have ever watched anyone you love die of a this awful disease then maybe you might cover your old prod. I have heard friends compare fu@king with a rubber to eating a sweet with the wrapper on. We all know the risks but some choose to ignore them and here is where the problem lies. Gentlemen please have a little common sense and ensure that you are able remain as healthy as you can. This will be of benifit to all in the long run. I really dont want to come across as a pompass??? fu@kwit but hey it really is scary sh@t. I see lots of tongue in cheek and off the cuff remarks on these boards but just a moments pause really could save your life. I'm no Doctor and don't know how long it takes to incubate a STD.
What I am trying to say is. The girl gets the all clear on Monday after her screening (If she goes and doesn't pocket the money given to her from the BF takings to have the tests) She has a ST customer on Tuesday afternoon and a LT that night and then you come along on Wednesday night, pay your 50 Baht extra on the BF to see a certificate from the Doctor! You then take the certificate for the gospel truth and don't bother to bag up! She may well have been clear all along but you can't vouch for the ST or LT Falang customer. Paranoid I maybe! But IMHO, Just not bloody worth it.
