Would you be willing to pay an extra 50 baht barfine to allow for regular HIV/AIDS screening of BG's and Agogo's?

Why pay. The girls are supposed to get checked according to some regulation. Ours girls must produce their medical booklet every 2 weeks to get their salary. No checkup, no salary.

Now I'm really confused. If it only costs 70 Baht for an HIV test then they should all be tested every week or two, and we shouldn't have to pay extra. A couple months ago I read on this forum that it was cost prohibitive to have the girls tested regularly, that nobody did it for that reason, and that an estimated 1 out of every 8 girls working the bars and gogos in Patong is HIV positve
So I have 2 questions. 1) What's the truth? and 2)What bar does Steve run?

I believe that its a jolly good idea to get the lassies regularly checked for STD. Before I mate with a lassie I have never met before, I always take her to the clinic to get checked out. The means that the first couple of nights are a rather dull affair.

Before I leave my hotel I just cover my entire body in cling wrap (I poke a small hole in the mouth area so I can insert a straw to drink my beer through though)
I find this to be a workable solution as so far the only medical problem I've had is heat stroke. We could always tear a page out of Japans book. Over there they have "Feely Bars" .. You sit in a booth which has a latex wall between your booth and another one. A girl sits on the other side of the latex wall and you "feel" her through it. What FUN!!

I'd vote yes but then wouldn't it make the naive more likely to go bareback? and it wouldn't be anymore protection against Aids. Personally I think it should be enforced now by the bar owners, advertised and surely would be a benefit to those like Steve that insisted. Lucky its not the good old UK or bar owners would be sued for irresponsibility.

Just a thought .. what about all the old buggers over 60? .. I suppose they wouldn't have to worry about AIDS. It takes years to die of AIDS these days. By the time they died of AIDS related complications they'd probably be dead from old age anyway!
Are all these old "raincoats" thinking "to hell with the condom" and helping to spread AIDS and whatever other STDs around all over the place??
