how long you spend with a girl
how long does the average board member spend with a bg?
i personally like to shag around a bit then find a nice 1 for 5-6 days for relaxing with,but fit in short time sessions with others when possible. steve

normally no more than 2 days , but did met a nice girl who i did spend a lot longer with, hopefully she will still be there on a future tour as she was great fun to be with.

Butterfly
In the past i stayed long time with 2 different girls , actually stayed with them for the entire holiday , no butterfly , both ended unhappily , i just never listened to all the advice given on the web over and over by guys in the know , after a terrible 1st week last april with a lady i knew from 2 times before i have finally learned my lesson , the next 2 weeks were spent butterflying every day although i met one lovely young 21 year old who tayed with me 10 days , but only because i explained about my past in LOS and she understood that i aint gonna stay in heart break hotel no more , so i she said no problem to me playing around , one of the best girls i ever met , she even let me shag her mates

During my second trip I met a girl by the end of the holiday stayed with her for 5 days. Got back 2 months later stayed two weeks with her and the I got back and stayed three weeks with her. I hope if I go back end of this year I will see her again.
So you might call me a dumbo, but I only went to bed in Phuket, with one girl.

You definatley aren't a dumbo. I know a lot of guys who seem to stay with the same girl for a while. If you have fun, you treat each other nice (no arguing or jealousy), and she is not trying to extract all your hard earned out of you, then there is nothing wrong with the same one. The problems arise when all the silly stories come from the girls, and you know they are just taking the piss. Once you see these signs, then it should be time to trade in for another 'nearly new low mileage' bar girl.A lot of guys butterfly so they dont get to that stage. It all comes down to what is best for you. If you are the one in control, then it should always be great fun. Adios

The time(s) I've gotten in over my head with a Thai bg are when I've (mistakenly!) let her take the piss--and somehow managed to forget who is paying the tabs and who is on his bloody holiday!!! Fortunately, that didn't drag on too long b4 I wisened up on my own. If only I had this board are prior to my first tour!

Depends on the girl sometimes I can't wait to get rid of them the next morning the longest I ever spent was one week but I was still getting ST action. Usually I'll stay with one until I get sick of her, the one I'm seeing now is keeping me busy and I enjoy the challenge but every guys different.

At the moment I live in the UK and she lives in Loei , but i manage to get over there about 8 times each year. I am halfway through building a house in Phuket and by May 2008 will live there permanently.

she did work at coyote , but has stopped working bar and living at home with her daughter now.
Have driven from khon kaen to Loei several times and passed through chum pae on the way , approx. half distance.

You Can't Always Get What You Want
Different strokes for different folks. Some of us need/desire variety, the thrill of the hunt, and the excitement of not knowing what the next day wiil bring us.
Some need/desire the stability and greater level of intimacy that can only be developed over the course of a longer period. Some like myself seem to feel pulled in both directions at times. After reviewing my first two trips, the best times I remembered were not the numerous one-nighters and constantly changing faces/bodies, but the times when I spent 5-10 days with the same one. That included two 1 week stints w/ an honest-to-God virgin(no sex) in Chiang Mai. Therefore I decided that on my 3rd tour I would hook up w/ one girl and not butterfly. 2nd night, after a stop at MTB, where all the girls seemed occupied, except a married visitor who I had a beer w/ and a BG who came on to me, but I didn't care for, I moved further down the soi and met one I was really attracted to. Spent 2 weeks w/ her. She was nice, I was infatuated, but the feeling wasn't mutual, and she just tried to play me for gifts.  Try to be a nice guy, not a butterfly, what happens. You're screwed.  Butterflied my way thru a week in BKK, ended up w/ sweet gal in Ko Samui for last 8 days. End of story.

my take
I think you guys have heard my opinions on this, and agian myself and jaybee think alike. I am going to LOS in 2 weeks for 19 days. My plan is to spend 3 days in Bangkok butterflying before my bg comes from her home to meet me in Bangkok. I then will spend 2 days in bangkok, 2 days at her home in Suphan Buri, 5 days in Patong, 3 days in Chiang Mai, all with her. She will then go home and I am going to Vietnam for 3 days and 1 more night in Bangkok without her. I think thats the best of both worlds, go wild for a few days, settle down for awhile, then end off your trip with a few more days of butterflying.
