Your Cell Phone Ring
On saturday night I was sat a bar in Sydney waiting for a friend when my cell phone rang.........he can't make it as his wife has had a minor car crash and he is on his way to go get her...don't know if this is true or not BTW but don't care anyway as long as she was not hurt
I put the phone down and the gal next to me at the bar says in a lovely English accent....wow what a geat cell phone ring, what is it.....I kinda looked at her like "is this gona be the lamest conversation in the world and how do I end the conversation politely"....but no she was quite a looker, dressed beautifully and had a great smile on her face so I said sorry and mumbled that it was just on the phone and I had no idea what it was....in a flash she had grabbed my phone saying "you don't mind do you" and started pressing buttons etc and then announced it's called "Jazz Riff" is that something you downloaded??......
Anyway after expalining that it really was just a standard Motorola ring and that I only use it so I can tell it is mine from others we got into a conversation about my mate not coming and how she was in town travelling about and was looking for some singles bars to hit.....so the radar went off.....ping ping
wasn't sure if she was a real loony or just very lonely and friendly.....anyway we had a couple more drinks, I took her to dinner, then a couple of clubs etc and we went back to my place....and had a skinydip in the pool and she stayed over....
well I am now wondering if she was ever really interested in my cell phone ring 55555......well not really...don't think I will ever see her again but it was a fun night....and I must say these sorts of things don't happen to me as often as they used to....
so what is your cell phone ring and have you ever had it used on you (or have you used it on a gal) as a pick up line?

When I first got a phone that played MP3 for ringtones I went and found Sir Mixalot's 'I like big butts' track and edited off the intro so that just shouted out right from the first ring..
I changed it after going into a lawyers office, smart dressed and formal.. Putting all my papers and leather folio on the table.. Phone on top.. and just in that silence before things get going receive a call..
I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung

I use several, depending upon who rings me:
VooDoo Child - Rougue Traders
Counting the Beat - Swingers
Muay Thai ring music - Lumpini Stadium (yes, I bought the CD!)
The latter I use for fellow Thailand travellers. It certainly draws stares ...
None of them have got me laid.

You are right there Dodge....as I said its been a while since a bird did the legwork for me....usualy I'm halfway bladdered...not wholly and certainly not sober.......and givin it a bit of this and that....only to be told after they ask my age......."geeze you are younger than my dad"!!!!
yep...most of the time I would score more with the Ping Pong enthusiasts (well not quite butr you know what I am alluding to) than with good looking young singles these days...

Had a SonyErickson with the ringtone "What shall we do with a drunken Sailor" before. I was holding a briefing for the "Tall Ship"s Captains on a sail parade in front of the port when in the middle of the explanation about sailing order and courses to be steered of goes...What shall we do etc.

As a ringtone I have the theme of the tv series JAG. I really ove that tune.
For incoming sms, I have the same tune as the sound at Schiphol airport when they make an announcement. So I can imagine waiting for my plane to fly to LOS.

Creedence - Up around the bend
Best intro ever made, and not a bad song either.
