Each morning, I travel to work down a freeway...110km/h speed limit.
I'm usually in the r/h lane doin 110-120.
It pisses me off, when I have some young punk come flying up behind me, flashing his lights at me to move over.
What pisses me off, is they are P Platers (Provisional licences for those who have just obtained their licence)....They are supposed to be restricted to a max. speed of 90km/h.
It depends what mood I'm in, as to whether I move over or not.
They all get a good view of "the finger" nevertheless.

That's my biggest pet hate of driving.
There's scores more of things I hate about it, but I don't have time to do a JB'ish type post.

If you mean driving in your own country then it would be the people who sit in the middle lane of the motorway when the inside lane is empty...............if you mean in LOS nothing really bothers me because there is none of the rush that you get in the UK.

On rural roads when someone is travelling slowly, then an overtaking/passing lane comes up and they speed up and try and stop you from getting past.

Geeezzz i hate that.

When it comes to Thailand I think it would be good to remove all those redundant mirrors from vehicles and sell them to another country where they realise they are actually a driving aid, not for checking you hair/makeup whilst driving. The money could be used to set up a fund to compensate those injured by people driving whilst using a mobile phone.

This could be the first of many posts in this thread. 55555

People on cell phones (most drive horribly)

people don't use the turn signal when it would help the situation.

Slow drivers in passing lane

People that speed up to stay in front of you then 2 lane road changes to one lane and they slow down so you are stuck behind them.

High beam head lights coming at me

High beam head lights in my rear view mirror

People who can't stay in lane

I am just getting started..

Number 1 would have to be the "red light runners"

You know, the green light turns to amber, and the scrote merely speeds up (from 100 meters out), so as not to miss the light. Of course by the time he hits the intersection...the light has turned red!

Many accidents caused by this, in my home town! "Important" people, are always in a big hurry, I guess! 5555

Speeding (in general), would be my number 2 gripe! To quote the old phrase... "where's the fire?"

Sorry, a Yellow Box on the road is normally placed at junctions with crossing traffic.

Let's say you're going straight, then the car in front stops at the outline of the box, you cant go into the Yellow Box. This is for cars on the other direction to cross.

If you move into the box, you're blocking the entire road and hold up traffic.

It's just like when you're queueing up, and someone on your right wants to cut through, they cant cause you are blocking, that's what the Yellow box is for. To stop flow when the congestion in front is very bad.

Selfish people do that and it's very common in Kuala Lumpur.

Can you give us a starter for ten on this one, I am stumped.

What bugs me is the Thai (not just Thai I know) mentality that it is better to have an accident than to give way.

Also do something about babies on motorbikes sandwiched in between the parents, zero protection in the smallest of accidents.

What bugs me most?

Clearly speed-limits and camera's.

That's one thing I really miss living abroad, the german autobahn where you can go as fast as you like (on most parts).

Driver slowing down to look at accidents and causing a major traffic jam for nothing. I guess most drivers will look at the number plates of cars involved to buy lottery tickets!!!

Yes, that is one of the few good things in Germany... 5555555..... The Autobahns are great.

I hate stretches of highway where trucks are allowed to pass. The you arrive there with about 140 km/h and they start passing another truck. One goes 80 km/h and the other one probably 85. By the time you can pass them both, you are 10 km further down the road.

Also slow cars staying on the left lane.

ooh, yes i hate this too!
the problem is that the trucks passing others even if it's not allowed, but they just don't care about

we're also having some nice autobahn's, but once when they made bigger they start to limit the speed to 100km/h , because the traffic is sooo high

In Phuket, people who overtake you, just to turn left into a soi in front of you causing you to brake.

Motorcycles turning left onto a main road that never look first.

People that overtake on blind corners.

People going slow on the fast lane.

Motorbikes that overtake on the left-hand side.

Cars creeping along because the owner is using a mobile phone.

People who think stopping at red traffic lights is "optional".

People that use the hazard lights at cross-roads to tell people that they are driving straight on.

People who don't switch on their indicator light until they are already half-way through the turn.

People that have forgotten to switch off their indicator lights.

The wankers that block the cycle lane just so that they can be one car ahead of where they would have been if they didn't.

All tour mini-vans.

All cement trucks.

All Mercedes drivers.

All Volvo drivers.

When people overtake you against oncoming traffic just as you are about to turn right off a road.
